How to rebuild a database in ProQA.
This document covers the following:
1. How to rebuild ProQA Medical.
2. How to rebuild ProQA Fire.
3. How to rebuild ProQA Police.
4. Error 62 and 129.
Summary:
Rebuilding the ProQA database is basically the same for all disciplines.
1. Close out of that type of ProQA (Medical, Fire or Police) at all workstations that
access the database you want to rebuild.
2. Open the ProQA File Maintenance Utility for that discipline.
3. Check everything in the list.
4. Click rebuild.
5. Wait until each item indicates rebuilt. This may take a while depending on the size of
your database.
6. Close the ProQA File Maintenance Utility for that discipline.
7. Use it normally.

How to rebuild ProQA Medical.
Close all instances on all computers of ProQA Medical running.
Start the ProQA File Maintenance Utility for Medical.
Check all the items listed.
Note: Clicking on the “X” at the top will check everything in the list.
Click the rebuild button.
Rebuilt should be indicated for each when they are complete.
Be patient, this may take a while depending on the size of your database and progress
will be displayed as each item completes the process.
When all items indicate rebuilt, close the ProQA File Maintenance Utility.
Done.
How to rebuild ProQA Fire.
Close all instances on all computers of ProQA Fire running.
Start the ProQA File Maintenance Utility for Fire.
Check all the items listed.
Note: Clicking on the “X” at the top will check everything in the list.
Click the rebuild button.
Rebuilt should be indicated for each when they are complete.
Be patient, this may take a while depending on the size of your database and progress
will be displayed as each item completes the process.
When all items indicate rebuilt, close the ProQA File Maintenance Utility.

Common errors are 62 and 129.
This occurs when a rebuild is attempted in the File Maintenance Utility while 1 or more
instances of ProQA are running.
To resolve this, go to every workstation and close all instances of ProQA running.
