Have all members of the current school board served this community with honesty and integrity? The current leadership and majority need to change so that together we can rebuild a strong, long-lasting bond between the school board and the community. Help us tear down the divide that continually repeats itself and build a bond that will foster a steady rise in school district metrics and reputation, innovation and excellence in student achievement and responsible fiscal management that benefits homeowners and taxpayers. We are looking to replace those board members who agreed to create a controversial district position on November 19, 2013 which would have set the district back more than $750,000 over 5 years and created a flood of unfavorable press. This same majority also voted to orchestrate a 2-mil tax decrease (via motion from the floor) in the last 10 minutes of the June 2014 Paid for by the Committee To Rebuild BW Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
