How to Consign with the UA Consignment Sale All consignors must bring in a completed Registration Form when dropping off clothes. Consignors receive 70% of the sale price of their items. Additionally, you’ll have the satisfaction of supporting Union Academy Foundation with the other 30%. Union Academy Foundation raises money for building and facility needs at Union Academy. There is a registration fee of $10.00 for all consignors and this fee is due when items for sale are dropped off. This fee includes registration and the envelope & postage for mailing your proceeds. This sale is limited to children’s items: children’s clothing (Fall and Winter only), newborn to size 16, junior sizes, gently worn footwear, toys, games, sports gear, fully-assembled children’s furniture, and accessories. All items must be clean, complete, and in good condition. We DO NOT accept the following: maternity clothes, car seats, VHS videos, stuffed animals, cribs, or out-of-season clothing. You sign a waiver at drop-off that expresses your agreement to this. How to Prepare Your Items for Sale NOTE: Experience shows that items should be priced at 25-30% of original retail. Launder / thoroughly clean all items. Attach all accessories securely (tape, Ziploc bags may be used for non-clothing items). Attach all shoe pairs securely together, loose shoes will not be accepted. Ziploc bags or string work well for securing purposes. Hang all clothing and accessories on hangers. Attach shorts, skirts, and pants to the hanger with safety pins. Clothing items MUST be sorted by gender and size prior to your entry into the Union Academy Upper Campus Gym for drop-off. Given the high volume of clothing received, we simply cannot accept clothing that is not already sorted. Check electronics to be sure they work properly! All clothes must be clean, in good condition and hung on hangers with appropriate tag. Shoes must be in gently worn condition. All shoes must be placed in plastic “ziploc” bags.
