Dinner on the Pacific Plate is Point Reyes National Seashore Association’s (PRNSA)
annual fundraising event, which includes an online auction from September 10 - 24,
and culminating in a special event on Saturday, September 20, 2014 that includes hikes,
music and dinner under an elegant tent at Point Reyes National Seashore.
We would like to invite you to help us kick off our fundraiser by providing a gift-in-kind
to be featured in our online fundraising auction at Bidding for Good. Our auction is
based around fun, unique, and quality experiences highlighting local businesses, our
national parks, nature, wildlife, outdoor recreation, health and beauty, our Bay Area
foodshed and talented chefs, lodging, art and so much more. This is a wonderful way
to give back, promote your business and help us raise much needed funds to support
our mission. In return, you get valuable exposure to tens of thousands of people
through the Bidding for Good website, as well as through our organization’s website,
e-newsletters, and at park visitor centers.
How to Participate & Special Recognition
Each experience receives it’s own custom write up complete with a description of the
items, color photos and links to your business. We also highlight your business in our
invitation (if confirmed by July 30), on our website, at the dinner and in our annual
report. Please use the attached form to detail your gift and we will contact you with any
questions. Gifts are tax-deductible (Our Federal Tax-ID 94-2228894).

Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) is the primary nonprofit partner of
the Point Reyes National Seashore, your Bay Area national park. Funds from Dinner on
the Pacific Plate support habitat and trail restoration, wildlife and endangered species
protection, volunteer programs, environmental education programs for people of all
ages, and scholarships that allow over 1,000 underserved children to experience Point
Reyes at residential camps. As federal funding for national parks continues to decrease,
public support is more important than ever to ensure that Point Reyes National
Seashore is protected, preserved, and enjoyed now and far into the future.
