Turn right at the next roundabout and straight over the
next small roundabout. Drive past a modern school on
your left (Gil Eanes School) and go over the next mini
roundabout up the hill. Drive straight over the next
roundabout, then turn right at the final roundabout
where you will see the sea. Belmar is the large white
resort on your right hand side.

Continue westwards along the A22 motorway for
approximately 65km and leave at Junction 1 for Lagos.
(Note: Do not take the first Lagos exit, signposted Lagos
Este but the following one). Continue straight ahead
over the 1st roundabout and turn left at the next
roundabout to Lagos.

Exit Faro airport and bear right onto the main road (the
roundabout with statues looking skywards is on your
left). Follow the signs for Faro & A22. After 2.5km,
take the second exit on the right signposted A22|
Lisboa |Portimão to join a dual carriageway. After
4km, take the left hand fork on the dual carriageway
following the sign for A22 | Lisboa | Portimão |
Albufeira. After a further 3km, take the right hand exit
to follow the sign for A22 | Lisboa | Portimão |
Albufeira.
