Topic: How to best manage revenues and costs to optimise profits and cash flow in the short, medium and long term? 20 tips for survival in difficult times in the hotel industry ABOUT THE EVENT Recent emphasis has turned to both ensuring that the right brand and right operator are operating the hotel and that the operator is optimizing the flow through from revenue to profit. The round table discussion will focus on “How to best manage revenues and costs to optimise profits and cash flow in the short, medium and long term”. Our speakers will share the actual experiences of the hotel operators by trying to explore the breadth and depth of the topic in an exclusive discussion with a valuable networking opportunity. No doubt earning profit is especially important in the mid of economic recession, how can we also develop new long-term strategies to help industry professionals manage in an ever-changing business environment? Many will panic and introduce short-term quick-fix solutions that are not always successful. Ian will share with you his Top Twenty Tips for survival in difficult times in the hotel industry and Neil will discuss that will be applicable to the hotel group based in Hong Kong. At the round table discussion, you are also encouraged to share your knowledge and experience of your own and learn from your peers and the speakers.
