HOW TO SUPPORT THE SHUJOG FUND AT GIVE2ASIA
This document outlines how donors can support Impact Investment Shujog in Singapore with U.S.-based assets by making taxdeductible contributions to Give2Asia. Donors making contributions with assets in Hong Kong should contact Give2Asia to receive
additional information about receiving eligible Hong Kong tax deductions.
Background
Each year, Give2Asia helps to raise millions of dollars in gifts and donations from corporate, foundation, and
individual donors. Give2Asia demonstrates its effectiveness in serving the needs of international philanthropy with its
on-the-ground presence, knowledge of diverse social and economic conditions, and the expert matching of donor
interests with innovative and effective grantees. Give2Asia makes international grantmaking safe, effective, and
impactful.
Give2Asia’s philanthropic consulting, due diligence, advised grantmaking and project monitoring are conducted by
Give2Asia’s local staff and advisors. Since 2001, Give2Asia has made grants to over 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific
region and supported the charitable efforts of thousands of donors.
Impact Investment Shujog Limited (Shujog) confronts urgent social and environmental issues by amplifying the
work of social enterprises impacting communities all over Asia-Pacific and by showcasing their social impact as
prominently as their financial results. Shujog provides capacity building services to social enterprises in Asia to help
build the organizational accountability, sound governance, and fiscal accountability necessary to raise impact
investment funds. Shujog also conducts specialized research on the Asian social enterprise sector and engages in
advocacy, education and outreach to relevant stakeholders.
Notable aspects of the Shujog Fund include:
Gifts for the Shujog Fund are tax deductible. Give2Asia is recognized as a tax-exempt charitable organization
in the United States (ID# 94-3373670). As such, donations are tax deductible according to U.S. law. Please
consult your financial advisor on structuring your giving for maximum tax benefit.
You will receive a thank you letter and receipt in recognition of your gift. Upon receiving a gift, Give2Asia
will issue a thank you letter and receipt recognizing your gift for the Shujog Fund. This letter may be used for tax
reporting purposes.
