How to get to “Fuji Kyoiku Kenshu jo”( Fuji Institute of Education
and Training) from Narita Airport
We offer three routes.
1) Coach and taxi
2) Railway and taxi
3) Railway and local bus.
We suppose that the most convenient route (cheapest and fastest) is the first
one. We recommend the second route for the one who will arrive at Narita
Airport in the evening.

From “Tomei Gotenba IC” to the conference site
There is a taxi stand in front of the bus stop building. It takes about 25 min and 1,800
yen. We recommend you to share a taxi with other DIET10 participants.

If there is no taxi at the taxi stand, please call “Anzen Taxi” (0559-92-0431) at a
telephone booth near the bus stop building. For using a telephone, you need 10 yen (or
100 yen) coins or a telephone card, which will be available at the conference site for the
international call. If someone you are calling can not understand English, say slowly
“Toh-mei Go-tem-ba IC Made Taku-shee Wo Onegai Shimasu”.

Do not go out of the station at Mishima. Go to the transfer exit for Tokaido line.

Note: You can buy tickets for all the transport from Narita Airport to Iwanami Station
at the ticket counter of JR-east at Narita Airport. It will cost 7,740 yen including the
tickets for the seat reservation of the Narita Express and the Tokaido Shinkansen. The
following part describes the railway route in Japanese, and it may help you at the ticket
counter.

At Mishima Station.
Attention: DO NOT go out from the north exit of Mishima station. Go to the
transfer-exit to Tokaido-line first as described in page 5, and then exit the south exit of
the Tokaido line. The bus stop is located at the south side of the station, and it will take
long time if you leave the station from the north exit (You can not re-enter the station
gate without buying a ticket).
The bus stop is No. 2, which is at the left side of the south exit of the Mishima Station.

Take the bus the destination of which is “Suyama” or “Jurigi” or “Yu-enchi Gurimpa”.
Fee is 750 yen, which you have to pay when you get off. When you ride, take a sheet
from the machine at the entrance of the bus. This is a proof of your departing stop, and
the number on it is necessary to determine the fee.

It is not easy for a stranger (particularly a foreign stranger) to notice when the bus is
arriving at the bus stop (Fuji-Kyoiku-Kenshujo Mae). So, it may be better to ask the
bus-driver to call you when the bus arrives. Show the driver the next part of this sheet.
