It transmits up to 18 channels in FM sound quality by means of invisible light. No fan cooling. RA 15 models are cooled by convection principle. The RA 15 series of infrared radiators are based on a revolutionary new technical modulation principle with almost 100% modulation resulting in extreme large coverage. Most modern infrared transmitting diodes increase the IR-radiated modulated power to 30 Watts. Now much larger surface areas and distances may be covered. Receivers output better than 40 dBA, i.e. free from perceptible noise. (Please, see the DIS Infrared Covering Guidelines for more specifications) The RA 15 models provides reliable illumination from small scale meeting rooms up to very large conference halls. The RA 15-30 model covers up to 2.580 sq.m./ch., when used with the high sensitivity DIS IR 15 Infrared Receivers. The RA 15 models features: Recessed high power diodes of latest GaAs/GaAlAs type. Close to 100% modulation. Small cabinet size in black or white metal housing with low weight per radiated Watt and adjustable swivel bracket for easy mounting. The RA 15 models has a built in power supply. It is automatically activated by high frequency signals emitted by a DIS Infrared Transmitter. RG58, coaxial cables for signals and power cords allows daisy chaining of a maximum of 25 numbers of radiators. Angle of half intensity 44 deg. Extreme large coverage. Covers almost 10,000 Sq.m./ch.
