Important Note: Applicants must live in FORT BEND COUNTY. Applicants must also live in
the city limits of STAFFORD or MISSOURI CITY. Participants will start classes in Spring 2013.
Requirements are for FALL 2012 Orientations only.
What Capital IDEA Houston does...
Basic Qualifications
We sponsor up to a two year associates degree in specific career fields.
Sponsorship includes the following:
 Tuition - We will pay for your tuition and fees at approved community
colleges, including College Prep, and prerequisite courses.
 Books - Book vouchers will be provided to cover your textbook costs.
 Guidance - A Career Counselor will meet with you regularly and help
you navigate your academic program.
 Child Care - You will receive assistance to reduce child care costs.
 Placement - We will assist you in finding employment with a good
salary, benefits, and opportunity for career growth once you graduate.


Sponsored Careers
We sponsor training in careers that pay between $15 to $20 an hour,
provide benefits and offer career paths with room for advancement.







