The concept of Problem-Orientated medical Learning (POL) in small groups was developed by outstanding academic teachers of the Harvard-Munich teaching alliance. The practical biopsy course on specifically prepared cadavers is a joint activity of the Leipzig University Anatomical Institute and the Nephrology Division of the St. Georg Hospital.
