New Smartphone Activation Prior to starting these instructions, call Sprint to swap your phone service. *Do NOT power on your new smartphone prior to calling Sprint* 1. Power off your old phone 2. Power on your new smartphone (press and hold the button at the top until the logo appears on the screen) 3. Slide arrow to the right to unlock Set your new smartphone down and wait for activation to complete before proceeding (this can take up to 15 minutes) Searching… will be the status in the upper-left Waiting for Activation message will appear. Phone is activated message will appear when the Sprint service is activated. 4. Tap in the Go to this address field (at the top of the screen) (if the on-screen keyboard doesn’t appear, tap in the Go to this address field again) a. Type in: m.dm/dhsoha b. Tap on Go 7. Tap in each of the fields and type in your information as shown… a. Username: OR# (ex: or0123456) b. Password: Network password (password you use to log into your PC) c. Domain: DHS (this field may be filled in automatically) d. Tap Continue IF the next enrollment screen says Invalid domain, username or password, Tap on the Back button, then repeat Step 8. If you receive this message three or more times, you will need to contact the Service Desk to have your network account unlocked. 9. Read and accept the MaaS360 Terms and Conditions a. Tap checkbox next to I have read and accept the terms. b. Tap Continue 10.Read and accept the DHS|OHA Terms and Conditions a. Tap checkbox next to I have read and accept the terms. b. Tap Continue b. Enter a passcode, then Tap Continue Must be at least 4 numbers in length Cannot contain ascending (1234), descending (4321), or repeating (1111) digits. c. Re-enter to Confirm passcode, then Tap Save 21.Tap on Mail 22.Enter your Active Directory password a. Tap in the white box where Password is displayed b. Type in Active Directory password (this is the password you use to log into your computer) c. Continue on to Step 23, it can take several minutes for your email/contacts/calendar to start populating 23.Press the Home button 24.Tap on MaaS360 icon (may need to scroll home screen to the right to find the icon) 5|Page Mobility How To Documentation Collaborative Communications 25.Tap on OK, on “MaaS360” Would Like to Use Your Current Location pop-up 26.Tap on OK, on “MaaS360” Would Like to Send You Push Notifications pop-up 27.Press the Home button 28.Log into Lync 2010 (this step is optional) a. Tap on Lync 2010 icon b. Tap on More Details c. Enter your login credentials Sign-in Address: (ex: [email protected]) Password: Network password (password used to log into your PC) User Name: dhs\OR# (find \ key by pressing then on the keyboard) Tap on return on the iPhone keyboard to log into Lync 2010 29.Press the Home button 6|Page Mobility How To Documentation Collaborative Communications 30.Tap on Phone 31.Tap on Voicemail 32.To set up your voicemail, tap on Set Up Now (until you set this up, you will be able to receive voicemail) 33.Create a voicemail password a. Enter a voicemail password (must be a 4-digit PIN) b. Tap Save (at the upper-right of the screen) c. Enter your voicemail password again d. Tap Save e. Tap Custom Tap Record Speak into the phone to record a greeting Tap Stop f.
