How to remote onto a school desktop using Rav3 RDP session
School desktop PC must be on.
Please make sure that Remote Desktop option is enabled on the Pc, both in the Control
Panel and Widows Firewall.
From another Computer
Go to http://rav3.lgfl.org.uk
Enter USO details
Important please add your school dfe code to your username as shown here.
username11.315@3152061
Important please enter password followed by .otp tag number eg
password12.256892
Click login
Select Terminal services (RDP) Tab
Click RDP to the Desktop required
Click connect
Login to Desktop appears.
Remove any username and enter normal school login
Work as usual.
Logout when finished.
The most common reason that you are unable to connect is that Remote desktop is mot enabled in
the Windows Firewall of the machine that you are trying to connect. Please contact a member os the
Sims Support team for further assistance.
