Click on ‘Begin ‘
then
Click on ‘Accept’ in next screen
then
Tick ‘Yes’ and click on ‘Save &
Next’ of next screen

If you have NOT previously logged on to DECDjobs ie do NOT already have a
DECDjobs number and password, enter details and Save & Next.

If you HAVE previously logged on to DECDjobs (ie have a DECDjobs number
and password) then click on the ‘here’ link and enter your DECDjobs ID and
password and Login.


If you have forgotten your login details then you can click here to have them
emailed to your email address (must be the same email address previously entered
in DECDjobs). Each applicant requires a unique email address.

Once logged in you will see your Application History page and then need to click
on the ‘Continue Application’ link to the right of the ‘Permanent Teacher
Requiring Alternative Placement …’ application listing.

If you had already entered a previous DECDjobs application (eg for placement in
a previous year or for an advertised position) then the personal details of your
previous DECDjob application will be the default into your current application.
You will need to check this, edit as required, enter information not copied across
(eg transaction type, any schools beyond the first 10 listed previously, fraction of
time, etc) and Save each page to update this as your current year application.
Completing the application
You then need to complete all tabs of the PTR application. Online and hover help is
available throughout the application.
At the end of each section click Save & Next to go to the next section or you can click
on the ‘breadcrumbs’ at the top of the page to move to a section.
You do not have to complete all the application in one sitting as once past the first page you
can save what you have done and come back to complete it by logging in using your
‘member’ login and password and access the existing application. The one page Personal
Statement needs to be saved as a word document and is saved as an attachment as part of your
application in DECDjobs.
