• Members of EmployAbility team (NG employees connected with the
programme) make contact with potentially new placement managers
• Arrange an informal meeting or presentation with management, the
Job Coaches and an Intern to discuss the programme further
• The department(s) host the EmployAbility Interns so they can learn
about the business area and the types of jobs undertaken
• This could be an informal presentation or an interactive activity
• Placement lead works with the team and Job Coach to create a
bespoke job description for the placement
• Job Coach sends the department a personal profile of the Intern and
any additional information required
• Job Coach sits down with lead contact to discuss safeguarding and
risk assessment
• Date set for an induction if required
• Date set for Intern to start their placement with the support of a Job
Coach
