This annual conference focuses on current controversies and innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies for the most common urologic problems faced by urologists. Objectives At the conclusion of the activity, the participant should be able to: • Implement screening protocols for identifying and treating patients with low testosterone levels. • Evaluate and treat patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer based on the 2007 AUA Guideline on the Management of Non-muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer. • Describe and discuss the different surgical instrumentation, techniques, and complications in laparoscopic urologic procedures. • Screen and manage patients with prostate cancer. • Describe and discuss the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of men with Peyronie’s Disease. • Describe surgical techniques and complications of hypospadias repair. • Determine when a patient with genitourinary trauma, such as renal trauma, requires exploratory surgery. • Identify diagnostic and therapeutic options for interstitial cystitis so that physicians, with the help of their patients, can make an informed decision for treatment. • Describe surgical treatment selections for patients with renal cell carcinoma.
