Fixing notes Cutting to size If it is necessary to cut down one of the panels across it’s width, it MUST be cut down a rib. 07. Refit white end caps into panel. Lower assembled panels over EL2 eaves angle. Allow enough room for verge pack. 08. Line up by sight the position of each EL61 fixing plug with the central groove on the front face of EL2 . Drill 5mm hole, taking care not to drill into fixing plug. Screw fix. Drill 5mm drainage hole in lower groove in line with panel joints. The same amount must be also cut from the wall plate, eaves angle and lock plate. To prevent cracking the panels should be cut using a fine tooth saw and the sawn edges smoothed with a fine piece of abrasive paper. Trade tip! Keeping the weather out. 01. Fix the firrings by screw fixing through the window glazing recess. A dab of silicon sealant on the underside of the EL53 clamping washer and EL56 screw will ensure even better protection from the weather. 02. Fix EL6 wall plate at 450mm maximum centres. For added strength, attach to both firrings. The wall plate can overhang the firrings by approximately 20mm. See insert. 09. To fix at the verge drill 5mm hole at 500mm centres through rib over firring using EL53 clamping washer as a guide. Using EL56 screws, fix through clamping washer and panel into firring. 10. Position centrally EL6A locking plate and push fit into wall plate. Fixing holes If the wall plate isn’t used (photo 2 opposite) the panels should be pre-drilled at the ridge end before installing them. See below. Ridge end Due to Everlite Enduros unique design, silicon sealant is not required (or recommended) anywhere else during installation. Panel 03. Drill and screw EL2 eaves angle to front of conservatory. Ensure the eaves angle overhangs supporting structure by approximately 20mm. See insert. 04. Remove white end caps from panel. Push two EL61 fixing plugs into each panel beneath the drip nose. Important! Remove adhesive 11. Push fit EL36 foam filler under locking bar. 12. This completes the sealing of the light panels. 14. To fix verge pack barge boards cut wings off last end cap. Cut to required length and slide up side of last panel. Drill and fix into wall plate using single screw. Fit aluminium or third party flashing into wall and you’re finished! Fix verge flashing to PVC-U window with proprietary fixings at 300mm centres. Screw fix Enduro panels through clamping washer into timber or proprietary edge beam at head of PVC-U glazing system. Screw fix clamping washer through panel into timber purlin Screw fix locking plate through Enduro panel into timber ridge board. Clip a ridge flashing to locking plate to both sides of the ridge. Fixing without the fast pack accessories to 5º and over. Monopitch ridge Screw fix a cover flashing through self adhesive compressible foam tape to abutment wall at 450mm centres. Alternative: Dress the cover flashing or lead over upstand flashing and welt into brickwork joints. Seal joint between wall and flashing with polysulphide sealant. Bevelled timber purlin to suit span. Purlin Fit upstand flashing over a locking plate by others and screw fix to abutment wall at 450mm centres. Screw fix Enduro panel to timber wall plate through locking plate and clamping washer. Profile filler EL36. Bolt bevelled timber wallplate to abutment wall at 900mm centres. Abutment Screw fix a cover flashing through self adhesive compressible foam tape to abutment wall at 450mm centres. Alternative: Lead flashing welted into joints. Seal joint between wall and flashing with polysulphide sealant. Screw fix an abutment flashing to wall seal with foam filler at junction of panels. Foam filler. Screw fix end panel through clamping washer into timber bearer at 600mm centres. Bolt timber bearer to wall at 900mm centres. Curved or straight Enduro panels. Profile filler EL36.
