Bad Seed
What better way to kick start your Halloween than with a murder mystery.
The Harlequin Dinner Theatre presents “Bad Seed” by Maxwell Anderson.
Set in a small southern town, Bad Seed tells the story of Colonel and
Christine Penmark along with their daughter, Rhoda. On the surface little
Rhoda Penmark is loved by her parents, admired by all her elders, sweet,
charming and full of old-fashioned grace. Mrs. Penmark gets an uneasy
feeling when one of Rhoda's schoolmates is mysteriously drowned at a
picnic...
Bad Seed runs through Nov. 2. Performances are held Thursdays, Fridays &
Saturdays with dinner at 6:15 p.m. and curtain at 8 p.m. For reservations or

It’s Not Easy Being Green – Spouses’ Conference
The “It’s Not Easy Being Green” spouses’ conference will be held Oct. 24-25. It celebrates the military life of
Spouses and is designed to strengthen community ties, form new friendships and develop skills. There is a $5
registration fee that includes key-note speakers, workshops, lunch, and child care. Registration is due Oct. 15.

The American Library Association theme for this year is “Seek
the Unknown @your library". Map the Unknown-A teen art
competition where students map the “unknown” for 2013 Teen
Read Week. Teens, 12-18, have the opportunity to map
fictional lands from books or their own fantasy world.
Submitted maps will be put on display in the Young Adult area
of the library, and voted on by library customers. Entries may
be submitted from Oct. 13-19. Voting will take place from Oct.
20-31. The entry with the most votes will receive a grand prize

Positive Parenting
This is a three-part series that gives new
parents a wonderful opportunity to
help their child reach their full potential.

A children’s safety seat inspection is
