CUSTOM ENGRAVED BUTTONS
for use with KPC7 Keypad
Description
Keypad Buttons are precise laser-etched. Each button easily replaces the factory supplied standard button, even if the
standard Keypad is currently installed. Buttons install to the Keypad Controller with (2) screws and replacing the button is
a non-electrical procedure. Disconnect power at circuit breaker or remove fuse to avoid electrical shock or damage to the
controller. You must specify color.
Color/Font/Size/Character Limitations
o Available Button Colors are: White, Black or Light Almond
o Available characters include all letters of the English alphabet, all numbers (0-9), and all symbols on a standard
keyboard.

How to Create Forms and Order
There are currently two methods to produce forms to order KPC7 keypad buttons.

1) Use page #2 of this PDF. Use one page for each KPC7 keypad. Only fill out the contact info once.
a. Complete the necessary information and text locations relating to the button to be engraved. Complete a
document for each different engraving instruction. Due to variations and difficulty in interrupting hand
written forms, it is best to complete this PDF form.
2) Use UPStart Configuration software to generate the order form from your UPB file. Follow these two steps when
using UPStart;
a. Once your keypads are added; use the “ENGRAVING” tab on each individual keypad to label each button.
b. Navigate to File\KPC7 CEB Engraving worksheet to preview the CEB Engraving Worksheet and confirm the
file is correct
Print copy and have customer approve — keep approval for reference
