RMFC 1. What is RMFC (Mission Statement) Rocky Mountain Football Club is a nonprofit organization that was developed in the spring of 2013. RMFC is a competitive soccer club for above average players that were born between the years of 1996-2000 (U13-U17). We have created an environment that will provide your player with a valuable learning experiences and an opportunity to improve their skills. 2. RMFC’s Mission Statement RMFC’s mission is to create an opportunity for like-minded players in skill and commitment, to develop to their full potential by creating opportunities to compete outside Montana’s boundaries, win and emphasis on pursuing collegiate signing opportunities. 3. RMFC Selection Process Players are selected on the basis of an open tryout. Tryouts are held by RMFC coaches who have been identified for their ability to identity and train players with superior soccer skills. Players will be evaluated on technique, attitude, and athletic abilities. RMFC will hold two tryouts for players to attend across Montana (dates to be announced). The cost for players to tryout is $35.00. Players will be notified by email if he/she has been selected. 4. What is the cost if my player is selected? RMFC players will need to purchase a uniform at the cost of $115.00. We also offer warm up clothes (optional) for $110.00. Players will also be charged an annual fee of $100.00/player to cover field space for training. RMFC will provide all selected player with a RMFC t-shirt. Players will pay for coaches travel fees and tournament entrance fees along with their own travel expense. The expectation is that if a player joins RMFC that they commit to attending the majority of tournaments. 5. Where/when are the training sessions and how may trainings? Training sessions will be held every 3-4 weeks in the winter, summer, and fall and 6-8 weeks in the spring. Practices will be located in different cities across Montana. Training sessions will be held on Saturdays and/or Sundays. In the summer time these days may change. 6. What is the cost of a College Showcase tournament and how many tournaments will my player attend? RMFC participates in five College Showcase tournaments per year. The dates range from December – August. We try to schedule these tournaments to not interfere with the ODP, HS or spring season. The cost of a tournament is based on the location of the tournament. We expect to take 16-18 players per pool per tournament. The player is responsible for all travel costs (hotel, food, and transportation) as well as tournament fees. RMFC will notify players/parents 6-8 weeks prior to a tournament to allow time for travel preparation. RMFC will send administrators to the winter college Showcases/tournaments. 09/2013 BC 7. RMFC Technical Director RMFC is pleased to have Ashley Plummer as our Technical Director. Ashley is an ODP coach for Montana, RMFC coach and Belgrade High’s Varsity Coach. Ashley grew up as a competitive player in Sacramento, CA and went on to become an Assistant coach at Western Nevada College from 2005 to 2007. Ashley has selected all of the coaches for RMFC and has developed training sessions for the coaches to follow. She also evaluates and observes the coaches during training sessions, and will be providing players with college recruiting education, where she will aid players in contacting coaches for a small, additional fee. 8.
