What is 4G? And what is 4GEE?
What handsets will work on 4G?
4G is the fourth generation of mobile networks. It
offers superfast mobile internet speeds that make it
unbelievably quick to use the internet on compatible
phones, tablets and dongles. 4GEE is the name of
EE’s 4G offer.
To use 4G you’ll need 4G coverage, a 4G compatible
phone, 4G SIM card and 4GEE plan on EE. EE is
working with the major manufacturers to offer a
range of 4G phones and tablets. At present, the
4GEE compatible devices are:

In order to complete corporate connections to EE
(50 employees or above), you will need either a 3G
or 4G device, or even both, to suit your customer’s
needs. If buying a 4G device, please use the EE
hardware list. If buying a 3G device, please use the
Orange hardware list.
Please note that your 3G EE customers will receive
a handset paired to a legacy Orange 3G SIM card,
and your 4G customers will receive an EE SIM card.
3G EE SIM cards will ship with 3G devices from early
2013.

New 4G towns and cities
By April, 4GEE will have been extended to
approximately four million more people, including
Bradford, Doncaster, Dudley, Leicester, Luton,
Reading, St Albans, and West Bromwich.
Between April and June, 4G will be launched in

BlackBerry 10
From 23rd January 2013, Visual Voicemail will be
available to all EE and Orange business customers
using an iPhone & iOS 6 or higher. Visual Voicemail
enables the customer to view all voicemails as a list
on screen. It shows who the messages are from,
when they were left and how long they are.
Visual Voicemail is free and can be set up by texting
‘iPhone visual’ to 150.
EE Film
EE Film is a new service available to all 4GEE or Fibre
Broadband customers, giving access to a wide range
of films to download through the EE Film Store.
EE customers can also get 2 for 1 cinema tickets
every Wednesday.
