There have been a number of staff changes over the past few months and
we welcome on board Rachel Howard- Development Worker and Marcia
O’Hagan-Receptionist. We would also like to extend our thanks to those
staff that have left the organisation- Monica McCourt, Rachel Moran,
Niamh Tucker and Tanith Reddin for all their hard work and enthusiasm.
‘Men Alive’ is an informal, fun, interesting and educational group and is
open to men of all ages. The group decides its activities based on the
suggestions of the members. New members are actively sought and are
very welcome. The group meets every Tuesday 7.30-9.30pm.
‘Sister Act’ meets on Wednesdays, 7.00-9.00pm upstairs in the Badminton
Centre. This is an established group but new members are always
welcome. The group’s members choose their own activities e.g. flowerarranging, angel cards, social evenings, etc.
Our coffee morning meets on Tuesdays, 10.30am-12.00pm upstairs in the
Badminton Centre. This is open to all residents of Baldoyle!
Open to parents, grandparents and childminders! So come along and join
us for a play and a chat and some fun activities.

This project continues to strive and is currently involved in a number of
initiatives in the community. They have also been shortlisted for the
Pride of Place Awards and received an award from Fingal County Council
Cleaner Communities.
In celebration of National Volunteering Week, BFRS were awarded the
Fingal Managing Volunteers Awards Level 1. This award is a joint initiative
of Fingal Volunteer Centre and Fingal County Council.
Our classes help improve your child’s self-confidence, co-ordination and
general fitness, all in a safe, friendly and structured environment.
