AUTUMN 2013 FUN AND EXCITING DAY AND EVENING COURSES FOR ADULTS
KEEP LEARNING
Why not learn something new this autumn by enrolling
in one of our exciting day and evening courses?
WELCOME to the 2013 issue of the
adult learning programme. This year,
we are offering new employability
courses which will help with IT
skills, CVs, online applications and
interview techniques.
Emergency First Aid and
Elementary Food Hygiene are making
a return and several new courses
have been added, including:
n woodblock printing
n getting the most out of your iPad,
Kindle and tablet
n intro to deep relaxation with
self-hypnosis
n café et conversation
n music appreciation.
We have also developed course
content for our old favourites such
as arts and crafts, languages and
computing to ensure all levels from
beginners to advanced students are
offered progression in learning and
fun at the same time.
For many people, adult learning
is a way to make new friends,
explore areas of existing interest,
try something completely different
or keep their body and mind active.
We try to make our courses
accessible to everyone – see below
for details of the help and support
that is available. Enjoy!
WHAT WILL IT COST AND HOW
DO I PAY?
Fees are based on the length of
courses and any additional costs
eg for specific venues. There are
four fee categories – for students,
