Dramatic changes in the health care system are constant and
despite government reform efforts, gaps and weaknesses will
still exist. Many of the local underserved will continue to fall
through the cracks and suffer without the care they need. HFHC
services will remain crucial to the health of those with no other
place to turn. Our services are provided in partnership with
volunteer health professionals utilizing their time, talents,
and generosity. We activate at the grassroots level, not at
the government level. Our volunteer based model is simple,
effective, and represents the compassionate spirit of our
community.

Why I’m INVESTED...
“I look forward to volunteering and the opportunity to improve health in our community.
During my involvement in the dental program, I have witnessed the tremendous generosity of
local dentists providing free care to our patients. It has been a valuable experience for me
working side by side with healthcare professionals and will help me in the future when I am a
dentist. I have witnessed countless patient success stories and have seen lives transformed. The
appreciation expressed and their tears of joy have been the highlight of my time at HFHC.”
Sheri McCormack, Dental Program Volunteer
