The Fredericton branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists New Brunswick have successfully scared the living daylights out of willing Frederictonians, all for a good cause. This year’s Haunted Tour at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, a volunteer effort organized by the group, raised close to $20,000. With 3,000 people coming through the centre over the course of three days, the volunteers had their work cut out for them. But they managed beautifully, having fun and spreading the spirit of Halloween and community giving to the rest of the city. The work that these volunteers do, and the Haunted Tour event itself, is an annual fund raiser to support the ongoing ArtReach Program that the Charlotte Street Arts Centre offers to a dozen different partner organizations in the city. Those organizations, including the Fredericton Boys and Girls Clubs, Liberty Lane, Chrysalis House and others work with members of our communities to improve quality of life, increase opportunities, build skills and provide resources. Bilingualism, duality arguments creating division A sports tourism manager is a good choice Many disappointed by re-election of President Obama Mr. President, we are not threatened by a warming planet With the yearly effort by APEGNB, the Charlotte Street Arts Centre is able to offer free arts-based workshops and skills training to approximately 1,500 women, children, seniors and others. The Charlotte Street Arts Centre wishes to extend our most heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who participated this year in the APEGNB Haunted Tour, for making the time to make everyone’s lives a little bit better. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again next year.
