YL: O God, you see our lives from every angle, yet you have pa ence with our nearsighted view of ourselves. Blind to the community around us, we distance ourselves further from opportuni es of the spirit. Give us strength during this me to lay down those suffoca ng defenses that we have cocooned around ourselves. *Sharing of the Peace

“Give Thanks”
Give thanks With a grateful heart Give thanks To the holy one Give thanks For he's given Jesus Christ, his son (x2) C: (Full Voice) Forgive me. I see now that with your help, I can move from apathy to
empathy, seeing the needs of others both shown and hidden.
And now let the weak say I am strong Let the poor say I am rich Because of what The Lord has done For us (x2) Give Thanks YL: We have mistaken a full calendar for a fulfilled life. We grow weary with our burdens and bi er at the person who placed them in our hands…ourselves. C: O Righteous One, place your Yoke upon my shoulders for I know the load you ask me to
carry is love and the service you ask of me is the nourishment I seek in my life.
(In silence we lay down the burdens of our hearts) P: Our Father, the Ul mate Way of Peace, wraps us with forgiveness and fills us with love. C: Amen

Then he focused his a en on on Thomas. “Take your finger and examine my hands. Take your hand and s ck it in my side. Don’t be unbelieving. Believe.” The children may bring their offerings forward at this me for ‘Side by Side Kids’. A er the Children’s

Thomas said, “My Master! My God!” Scripture Reading...Job 27:1‐6 (The Message)
Jesus said, “So, you believe because you’ve seen with your own eyes. Even be er blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing.” Job now resumed his defense: P: The Gospel of the Lord. “God‐Alive! He’s denied me jus ce! God Almighty! He’s ruined my life! But for as long as I draw breath, and for as long as God breathes life into me, I refuse to say one word that isn’t true. I refuse to confess to any charge that’s false. There is no way I’ll ever agree to your accusa ons. I’ll not deny my integrity even if it costs me my life. I’m holding fast to my integrity and not loosening my grip— and, believe me, I’ll never regret it.” on
C: Thanks be to God.

“Lord of the Dance”
I danced in the morning when the world was begun, And I danced in the moon and the stars and the sun, And I came down from heaven and I danced on the earth; At Bethlehem I had my birth. Refrain:

*Gospel...John 20:19‐29 (The Message)
Dance then wherever you may be;
I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said he.
I danced for the scribe and the pharisee, But they would not dance, and they wouldn't follow me; I danced for the fishermen, for James and John; They came with me and the dance went on. Refrain Later on that day, the disciples had gathered together, but, fearful of the Jews, had locked all the doors in the house. Jesus entered, stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.” Then he showed them his hands and side. I danced on the Sabbath and I cured the lame: The holy people said it was a shame. They whipped and they stripped and they hung me high, And le me there on a Cross to die. Refrain The disciples, seeing the Master with their own eyes, were exuberant. Jesus repeated his gree ng: “Peace to you. Just as the Father sent me, I send you.” Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said. “If you forgive someone’s sins, they’re gone for good. If you don’t forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?” But Thomas, some mes called the Twin, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, “We saw the Master.” I danced on a Friday when the sky turned black; It's hard to dance with the devil on your back. They buried my body and they thought I'd gone; But I am the dance and I s ll go on. Refrain But he said, “Unless I see the nail holes in his hands, put my finger in the nail holes, and s ck my hand in his side, I won’t believe it.” They cut me down and I leapt up high; I am the life that'll never, never die; I'll live in you if you'll live in me: I am the Lord of the Dance, said he. Refrain
Eight days later, his disciples were again in the room. This me Thomas was with them. Jesus came through the locked doors, stood among them, and said, “Peace to you.” 4 Text: Sydney Carter, b.1915, © 1963, Stainer & Bell Ltd. (Administered by Hope Publishing Co.)
