Valentines for CVE (a silly “how to”) STEP 1: Fold the Valentine into a card Hold the card in your hand and then…. Fold it neatly. Like this STEP 2: Add positive comments to the front of your card A list of suggestions has been provided to your CARE Rep and teacher. You can refer to that if you can’t think of anything to write. STEP 3: Write a short but inspiring message inside the card. A list of suggestions has been provided to your CARE Rep and teacher. You can refer to that if you can’t think of anything to write. STEP 4: Make it look nice! Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to add color and your own unique touch! You will be provided with some stickers but we have a limited amount – feel free to bring in your own materials to decorate your card. Some tips… Watch your spelling… K a t ??? C a t  Let’s set a good example for the elementary students. If you aren’t sure how to spell a word, look it up or ask.  Know Your Target Audience ?????????? Each homeroom is assigned to a grade level. If you are assigned a Kindergarten class, then try to make your cards something a Kindergartner would like to read. If you are assigned to a 4th grade class, your card can reflect some higher level wisdom. Quotes are great for if you aren’t sure what to write Kindness in words creates confidence. We would like you to send the students a positive message (not a LOVE message). These younger students look up to you and this will mean a great deal to them.
