All homework is due on Friday and is to be returned in the homework folder.

meet your child's performance level. Activities are on the trimester sheet in the homework folder and classroom website.
All activities must be recorded on paper. Therefore, if the assignment is verbal, written or is demonstrated by an action,
the homework helper is to write a brief statement of what was completed on this Weekly Homework Packet Cover Sheet.
8 recorded activities are required on this form (please write a brief sentence about what was completed) in addition to
any other worksheets requested.
Students may complete extra work listed on the homework folder activities, classroom website or from the homework
helper's own creative collection of ideas.

John helped make smoothies in the blender. John peeled and cut-up a banana, got
the frozen bags of fruit from the freezer and vanilla yogurt from the fridge.
He put
the banana, frozen fruit and spooned a small container of yogurt into the blender
and measured and added 1 cup of rice milk.
Lid on, pressed the button and yum!
He loved being a chef!
* Language Arts Activity Completed: After school we visited the Murrieta Public Library. John got a library card
and checked out 2 books.
He loved it.
We sat at the library, read through and discussed many books.

John gathered all of the bathroom trashes and took them out to our trash
* Developmental Activity Completed: cans. He also helped with the kitchen trash. I told him that I would let
you know he did this chore.
He asked what else he could do for his dad!
* Math Activity Completed: John made an AB pattern using 2 different kinds of stickers.

John helped fold clothes.
He put his clothes into his drawers and
learned how to hang up his shirts onto hangers.
* Language Arts Activity Completed: We matched uppercase and lowercase letters. I printed out each letter from
my computer onto cardstock and cut them apart.
We later played memory with about half of the cards.
