Laser Foil is a thin, laser safe material that adds bling to your
laser projects.
Laser Foil applies like tape and can be vector cut by the laser
using very low power settings. An alternate method is to
engrave away the background by creating a box with a black
fill and adding graphics with a white fill. Apply Paper Mask on
the top of the Laser Foil to protect it and use high power and
medium speed to engrave into the base material.

– USING PHOTOGRAV SOFTWARE
PhotoGrav is the most popular software for processing photos and clip art for laser engraving. Version
3.0 is compatible with all versions of Windows® and all brands of laser systems.
This powerful software takes the guess work out of photo engraving by compensating for machine type,
material type and range of each photo.
Open any color or B&W image in PhotoGrav 3.0 and get started with the simple process. The first step
is to select the Material to be used for engraving. A drop down menu will display 29 standard laser
engraving materials.
The photo can be scaled in PhotoGrav by selecting the Resize Image tool. Adjust the final engraving
size and resolution of the image prior to processing.
The final step is to click on the Final Process
button which is where the magic really
happens. In addition to compensating for
the laser, material and the photo, PhotoGrav
adds edge enhancement
and special halftone
enhancements.
