Strategy overview
Important information
The db X-trackers funds ("Funds") are distributed by ALPS Distributors, Inc. ("ALPS"). The Fund is managed by DBX
Advisors LLC ("DBX") and is sub-advised by Harvest Global Investments Limited. The fund is not FDIC insured and there
is no bank guarantee and it may lose value. DBX is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, neither of which is affiliated with
ALPS.
Carefully consider the fund’s investment objectives, risk factors and charges and expenses before investing. This and
other important information can be found in the fund’s prospectus, which may be obtained by calling 1-855-DBX-ETFS (1855-329-3837) or by viewing or downloading a prospectus. Read the prospectus carefully before investing.
Risks
International investing involves greater and different risks than investing in U.S. companies and funds investing in a single
country or in a limited geographic region tend to be more volatile than more diversified funds. Emerging markets, such as
China, tend to be more volatile than the markets of more mature economies, and generally have less diverse and less
mature economic structures and less stable political systems than those of developed countries. Special risks associated
with investments in Chinese companies include exposure to currency fluctuations, less liquidity, less developed or less
efficient trading markets, lack of comprehensive company information, political instability and differing auditing and legal
standards the nature and extent of intervention by the Chinese government in the Chinese securities markets; and the
potential unavailability of A shares. An investment in this fund should be considered only as a supplement to a complete
investment program for those investors willing to accept the greater risks associated with investments in China.
Indexes are unmanaged and you cannot invest directly in an index.
Shares of the funds may be sold throughout the day on the exchange through any brokerage account. However, shares
may only be purchased and redeemed directly from the funds by authorized participants in very large creation/redemption
units. There is no assurance that an active trading market for shares of a fund will develop or be maintained.

Your gateway to China A-shares
db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares Fund (ASHR)
Introducing db X-trackers Harvest
CSI 300 China A-Shares Fund (ASHR)
db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China Equity Fund (ASHR) is the first U.S. listed
exchange-traded fund (ETF) to offer direct access to China-A-shares.

Only one other U.S.-listed ETF accesses the A-shares market—but it gains its exposure
via derivative securities, so investors are exposed to the inherent risks of any equity
investment plus counterparty risks associated with use of counter derivatives.
About Harvest Group

ASHR’s sub-advisor, Harvest Global Investments Limited, holds a Renminbi QFII license
(RQFII).

Deutsche Bank Group and Harvest Group have benefited from a successful Chinese
foreign asset-management joint venture. The continued strategic partnership provides
U.S. investors with the first ETF to access to the expansive Chinese economy and stock
market by directly holding China A-shares.

Harvest Global Investments Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvest Fund
Management, China’s second largest asset manager by assets.

Harvest Group, which has managed China A-share passive strategies since 2005,
managed 18 index funds, including seven exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with total asset
under management in excess of $10 billion as of June 2013.

About db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares
Fund (ASHR)
db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares Fund is an exchangetraded fund (ETF) that seeks investment results that correspond
generally to the performance, before fees or expenses, of the CSI 300
Index.
ETFs
CSI 300 Index
ETFs are investment funds that
trade on a stock exchange, much
like a stock. They are often called
“passive” products because they
typically seek to match the
performance of an index and are not
actively managed by an investment
team.
The CSI 300 Index is composed of
the 300 largest and most-liquid
stocks in the China A-share market,
which trade on the Shanghai Stock
Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock
Exchange.
One cannot invest directly in an index.

Why db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares
Fund (ASHR)?
 A broader opportunity set. Many sectors and
companies are only available via China A-shares,
meaning the ability to invest in China A-shares opens
up a broader opportunity set.
A
 A low historical correlation. This market historically
has had a relatively low correlation with other major
markets, especially those in the United States and
Europe.1 This is an attractive attribute for investors who
seek to more effectively diversify their portfolios.2
 A return potential that is enhanced. As discussed,
the China A-shares market also offers the potential for
enhanced return, given its low P/E ratio and potential
for growth.
