Micronic offers a comprehensive
range of non-coded, alphanumeric
and 2D coded (Tracker Data-Matrix
or TraXis) tube ranges in a variety
of materials, volume sizes and top
and bottom profiles.
The standard product range
comprises 0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml,
1.40ml, 2.50ml and 7.50ml tube
volumes.
Manufactured up to or exceeding
industry leading strict tolerances,
the precision and tube-to-tube
consistency of Micronic products
maximises operational uptime when
used with automated cherry picking
and handling systems.
The 0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml and
1.40ml tubes are available in all
coding formats and can be used
with a plug style cap (TPE or EVA)
or with a screw cap closure in turn
enabling long-term secure sample
storage
even
at
cryogenic
temperatures. The tubes have an
inner V- or U-bottom. The tubes for
plug style caps have double rings
located inside at the top, which
were specially designed to hold the
TPE or EVA caps securely in place
during freeze and thaw cycles.
The tube racks can hold 96 tubes,
minimising the space required to
store them. All the tube racks can
easily be locked in order to prevent
the tubes from falling out.
The 2D coded tubes can be decoded
with one of our 2D code readers: One
rack scanner in order to decode 96
tubes in 15 seconds, and the single
tube scanner to simply decode one
tube at the time. For High throughput
application, Micronic offers a camera
based system, which can decode 96
tubes within 1 second.

Micronic offers a variety of Screw
Cap tubes in the volume range of
0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml and 1.40ml.
The tubes are available non-coded,
alphanumeric coded and 2D coded
(Tracker Data-Matrix or TraXis). The
tubes (including the code area) are
manufactured of the highest-purity
polypropylene.
The 2D codes are encrypted with a
laser in the polypropylene code area,
guaranteeing the highest resistance
to solvent attack and ensuring a
reliable code reading. All the Screw
Cap tubes in this range are available
with an inner V- or U-bottom.
The Screw Caps are available in six
different colours: White, Red, Green,
Yellow, Blue and Transparent Blue.
Micronic Screw Caps feature Silicon
“O” rings around their base to allow
for the tightest seal possible.
The one turn capping ensures a tight
sealing that is also ideal for sample
transportation.
The Screw Cap tubes are
compatible with the Micronic TPE

The 2D Tracker Data-Matrix coded
tubes can be decoded with several
2D code readers: A Single Rack
Scanner (MVS) to decode 96 tubes in
15 seconds, and a single tube
scanner to simply decode one tube at
a time. For high throughput
applications, we offer a CCD camera
based system, decoding 96 tubes
within just 1 second.
The glass tube design is developed in
conjunction with our users. Micronic
has more than 25 years of
experience in the life science market.
The tube has an inner V-bottom
allowing for maximum sample
recovery and the lowest dead
volume. The tube top is specially
designed to securely hold the TPE
caps for glass tubes. The tube with
a cap gives an integer solution in
the sometimes extreme conditions
in your lab.
The glass tubes are available in the
Micronic Roborack-96 storage rack
that can hold 96 glass tubes, in turn
minimising the space required to
store them. The Roborack-96 can
easily be locked to prevent the
tubes from falling out.

Micronic offers a unique 2.50ml tube
to store a larger volume of samples in
the
96-well
configuration.
Manufactured to the industry leading
strict tolerances, these tubes have a
high precision and tube-to-tube
consistency. Due to the special
manufacturing process, these tubes
are as straight as the tubes from the
0.50ml to 1.40ml range, which are
ideal for automation.
The tubes are manufactured of the
highest-purity polypropylene that
resists many organic solvents. The
Micronic 2.50ml tubes are available in
non-coded form.
The tubes are available with an inner
U-bottom. The gross volume of the
tube is 2.90ml, and the net working
volume is 2.68ml.
The 2.50ml tubes can be closed
with Micronic EVA capbands and
capmats, and TPE individual caps,
capbands,
capmats

capclusters. The different colours of
the TPE capping products make
the easier recognition of different
kinds of samples possible.

7.50ml square tubes with a snap lid,
which are manufactured by Micronic,
are made from polypropylene (PP).
The tubes are ideal for solid or highcapacity samples and provide easy
sample handling and reliability for
long-term storage.
The 7.50ml storage tube is also
available with a 2D Tracker DataMatrix code special label on the tube
bottom, ensuring reliable sample
logistics.
The attached flip cap eliminates the
need for separate capping systems,
which makes the tubes a cost
attractive solution.
The tubes have a net working
volume of 6.33ml and gross working
volume of 7.49ml. The tubes are
available in bulk and are pre-filled in
the 24-well Comorack-24 storage
rack. The Comorack-24 is based on
the global recognised standard
footprint from the Society of
Bimolecular Screening (SBS).
The Comorack-24 is manufactured
of the highest-purity polycarbonate
that resists many organic solvents. It
can be autoclaved up to 100 times.
The Comorack-24 can be closed
securely with a transparent lid. With
the unique and easy-to-use orange
locking system, the lid stays
perfectly closed throughout longterm storage and transportation.

Snap Tubes ensure high security for
samples in non-coded, alphanumeric

storage. This unique feature is
available in the volume range of
0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml and 1.40ml.
The tubes are available with an inner
V- or U-bottom.
Operating the Snap Tubes is both
fast
and
simple. By
applying
downward pressure, the Snap Tubes
are securely locked into the Micronic
storage rack. To unlock, simply apply
a gentle upward pressure. Now, the
tubes are free again to be handled by
an automated tube picking system.

meet

compatibility with most sample

Micronic offers a variety of black
tubes for Light Sensitive samples in a

tubes are available non-coded and

TraXis). The tubes (including code
area) are manufactured of the
highest-purity black polypropylene.
Capping products available for the
0.50ml, 0.75ml, 1.10ml and 1.40ml
black tubes are EVA and TPE plug
style caps and Screw Caps in a
variety of colours.
The 2D codes on the 0.50ml, 0.75ml,
1.10ml and 1.40ml tubes are
encrypted with a laser in the
polypropylene code area, in turn
guaranteeing the highest resistance
to solvent attack and ensuring a
reliable code reading. These tube
volumes are available in the Micronic
Loborack-96 and Roborack-96.
The Micronic Light Sensitive
storage tubes are ideal for use with
fluorescent probes or ethidium
bromide.
These racks can hold 96 individual
tubes (12x8), providing for the
individual retrieval of your high
valuable samples. For the secure
closure of the Micronic Loborack-96
and Roborack-96, a black cover is
