Simpleware provides software solutions for digital rock analysis and rock typing. Use
Simpleware’s comprehensive image processing interface to easily visualise, segment
and quantify scan data (CT, micro-CT, FIB-SEM...), with applications for identifying pore
networks and other rock features. Porosity, phase volume fractions and grain orientation
can also be obtained, while multiphase meshes can be generated with conforming
interfaces and shared nodes for Finite Element (FE) and Computational Fluid Dynamics
(CFD) analysis. Models can be used for applications such as virtual special core analysis
(SCAL) and petrophysical rock parameter estimation.

analysis in FE and CFD packages. Proprietary

with conforming interfaces and shared
notes, with advanced options available for
assigning contacts, shells, node sets and
CFD information to meshes before export.

Simpleware software can be used to create high quality 3D renderings
of image data directly after import. Using volume rendering
techniques, you can efficiently visualise high resolution datasets,
with many options available for mapping colours and opacities.
You can also experiment with intuitive data manipulation tools to
identify Regions of Interest (ROI’s), and to align/re-slice or reduce the
resolution of your data.

software allow you to characterise rock core samples through
various metrics taken from our customisable statistics framework.
Available statistics include pore volume fractions, surface areas,
orientations, connectivity and positions. This framework also
allows users to build specific analysis templates, which can then be
shared with colleagues.

ADVANCED SCRIPTING CAPABILITIES
