Dear members, associates On January 2014 the Trade Team project started within British-‐‑Slovenian Chamber of Commerce. The main goal of the project is to find UK companies who would bring business to Slovenia and build a business bridge between the two economies. Our main sectors are Automotive, Advance Engineering, IT, Science & Technology, Healthcare & Life Sciences. With the aim to reinforce business ties with UK, we decided to organize a focused business networking event whereby UK and Slovenian companies could meet and introduce themselves. In our opinion, the best way to start business enquiries is organize on-‐‑site visits, which will be incorporated into the event. BSCC will invite UK companies from two British Business Chambers which are among the top 5 Chambers in UK. Those two chambers are Liverpool and Manchester Chambers. The networking event will take place in Ljubljana between 7th and 12th December. It will be a two-‐‑day event composed of lecturers, sales pitches, facility visits and the BSCC New Year’s Gala Dinner. Since we have a sector development fund, the event will be for FREE for those UK companies who will be nominated by members from BSCC and Liverpool and Manchester Chambers. The final nominated list will be approved by BSCC management, based on the potential of the nominated member to contribute to the increase in UK – SLO trade figures. We have sufficient funds to cover up to 40 FREE packages for representatives of UK companies. Companies from Šentjernej area have extensive export activities, some of them with already long term business relationship with UK. I encourage you to check your potential clients list, with whom you would like to make future business, and apply for the FREE PACKAGE. Your proposal is completely independent from our BSCC choice, so please invite your potential clients and use BSCC funds to develop your business. There is a limit of 2 free packages per BSCC member, with maximum of 20 packages for the whole of BSCC. But in case of not utilized 20 free packages by BSCC members, others can invite more than two. In order to prepare the event as well as possible, we would like to get your responses not latest than Friday, September 26. The event will also be open to the Slovenian public with a participation fee of 200 EUR excl. VAT (2 days event + gala dinner, excluding accommodation).
