Invitation to comment on RSPO certification assessment of TDM Plantation – Kemaman Palm Oil Mill
TDM Plantation owns oil palm operation in Terengganu with two palm oil mills located in Kemaman District. TDM
Plantation is now implementing a programme to achieve RSPO Certification for the two palm oil mills. TDM
Plantation is a RSPO member and has applied to BSI Group Singapore Pte Ltd for RSPO certification of its
Kemaman Palm Oil Mill operation at Kemaman District, Terengganu. The assessment will be conducted against
the MYNI of the RSPO Principle and Criteria for Sustainable Palm Oil Production. The assessment will cover legal,
environment, economical, safety and social aspects as required by RSPO P&C.
BSI plans to carry out the certification assessment of Kemaman Palm Oil Mill operations commencing 4th
December 2012. The followings are the information on the certification unit.

Senniah Appalasamy as a Lead Auditor (Estate and Mill Best practices, Environment, Legal, Social and HCV), Isman
Yusoff (Legal, Safety and Health, Environment and QMS) and Muhammad Haris Abdullah (GAP, Social, workers
interview, Internal and External Stakeholder Consultation).
In preparation for the assessment process, stakeholders are invited to provide written input to the assessment by
commenting on any environmental and social aspects of the Management Units’ performance that you consider
relevant.
