DAY 1
Airport Transfers and Check-In at Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa
WESTERN COWBOY COOKOUT BBQ ADVENTURE
Bishop’s Lodge Ranch is nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo
Mountains of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tucked within a lush valley adjacent
to the National Forest, experience good ol’ fashioned wholesome BBQ,
popular games and activities in an authentic resort atmosphere.Your YPO
group will enjoy an engaging, energetic and entertaining Cowboy Welcome
Party and Cookout. Entertainment such as cowboy poet, local favorite
western music and activities such as sunset mesa top ride or trail rides,
menu and pricing can be customized.
Estimated Cost: $60 per adult/ $35 per child includes Gourmet BBQ and all the fixin’s,
cowboy hats for the buckaroos, pony rides, country/western music & dancing and
Smores by the campfire.

DAY 2
MORNING
Mountain Scavenger Hunt with GPS Technology: Your YPO group will enjoy our
unique and fun Mountain Scavenger Hunt with global positioning satellite (GPS)
technology at a scenic location in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We add a
new level of excitement to a group outing by combining fun, physical activity
and GPS technology. After being briefed on how to use the technology and given
coordinates for the first hunt location, each team is given an advanced GPS device
to search for hidden spots. At the hidden locations, kids find treasures and the
team unearths a clue and sometimes undertakes a challenge to help them find
the next destination. This stimulating event fosters group bonding, encourages
problem solving and educates everyone on a new generation of orienteering
technology. A guide accompanies each team on the course.
Estimated Cost: $110 per adult/teen includes guides, transportation, themed participation gift
(typically an attractive pocket compass/thermometer), snacks and beverages, and souvenir water bottle.
$85 per child 12 and under includes the above items plus treasures at the hidden locations.
Group Size: Minimum of 50 participants (adults/teens or children 12 and under)
Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours including lunch
Outdoor Picnic Lunch or, Cooking Class at Hyde Park or Chili Cookoff at the Resort - Menu and pricing at this convenient
and beautiful park setting or cooking activity can be customized based on group’s preferences.
DAY 2 Afternoon
HORSEBACK RIDING & SKEET/TRAP at BISHOP’S LODGE
HORSEBACK RIDING
Experience breathtaking views on guided trail rides through the foothills and
canyons of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and adjacent Santa Fe National
Forest. The Stable offers a wide variety of rides to accommodate everyone
from the novice to the expert. Stroll down to the stables and ask our friendly
wranglers about setting up a ride perfectly suited for you! Guests climb aboard
a friendly equine to experience the natural world at a pace conducive to
absorbing northern New Mexico’s spectacular alpine scenery. Trail riding
requires no previous experience, though skilled riders will enjoy our outings
every bit as much as novices. The Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort Stables show
every guest a good time, with rides that make you feel like you’re starring in
your very own Western in the woods and mountains of New Mexico.
Estimated Cost: $95 per person includes trail ride, snacks and beverages,
and souvenir water bottle.
Group Size: Minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 per trail ride
Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours
SKEET & TRAP SHOOTING
Experienced the Old West with our Skeet & Trap course atop the mesa.
Shooters and those familiar with skeet/trap rules will consider this a challenge,
those new to this sport will have instruction by a seasoned instructor.
Estimated Cost: $80 per person includes gun rental, ammunition
and instruction.

Duration: Approximately 3 hours
EVENING (KIDS)
Dinner, Star Party, Games and Movie for Kids at Resort
Star Party: What’s up there beyond the Big Dipper? Blessed with high
altitude and little artificial light, stargazing in northern New Mexico is
like a dream come true. In our unusually dark night sky, there’s much
to observe and identify. Our expert astronomer engages guests by
bringing the remote jewels of the night sky within reach. Using
telescopes, guests are introduced to close-up views of objects such
as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters.
EVENING (ADULTS) BABYSITTING SERVICES are available.
Art Gallery Reception and Dinner for Adults: Depending on the
group’s desires, there are several fantastic art galleries and worldclass restaurants for the group to experience. An Art Gallery
Reception and Private Tour could precede dinner at a one of the
award winning restaurants or a catered dinner could be served at
the Art Gallery for an “Art Feast” evening. Transportation, menu,
entertainment and pricing can be tailored to your YPO Group.
EVENING (ADULTS) - POKER and PIZZA

DAY 3 - OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
AWARD-WINNING SHÁNAH SPA

recreation in a time-honored setting.

you’ll receive – no matter which treatment you choose. Whether you seek stress management, extra vitality, or health and wellness, the caring staff at this Santa Fe day spa
strives to individualize each service to suit your specific needs. These sessions are
steeped in Native American traditions, incorporating natural healing remedies, herbs,
baths, and teas.

WHITEWATER RAFTING
The most fun sections of the Rio Grande-including the adrenaline-inducing class
III Racecourse stretch-are within striking distance of Santa Fe. The day begins
with a scenic drive to the Racecourse put-in, the launch point to experience one
of America’s most impressive rivers, from an awe-inspiring canyon to exciting
rapids such as Souse Hole and Big Rocks. Afterwards, guests will be rewarded
with a gourmet lunch at a scenic riverside location.

KID’S CAMP APPALOOSA
The Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort’s Camp for Kids is where we provide many
exciting and fun learning adventures for our guests between the ages of 5 and
11. We offer a variety of activities 7 days a week. A different theme for each day
including crafts, sports, horseback riding, hiking, swimming and much more for
your little buckaroos! Join the kids and make it a family adventure! Camp
Appaloosa at Bishop’s Lodge — Their Smiles Will Make You Smile!

PUYE CLIFFS HIKING ADVENTURE
For more than three centuries beginning in the late 1100’s, Puye Cliffs was home to
approximately 1500 Pueblo Indians who lived, farmed and hunted game there. These
inhabitants are ancestors of the present-day Santa Clara Pueblo people. Knowledgeable
native guides lead guests on an exploration of this recently re-opened monument,
including close-up examination of the enigmatic cliff dwellings as well as the mesa
complex, with anthropological interpretation.
Estimated Cost: $105 per person includes guided tour, transportation, entry fees,
snacks and beverages, and souvenir water bottle.

THE EQUUS EXPERIENCE
A Program of Self-Mastery, Team-Building and
Collaborative Leadership.
Your group must have The Equus Experience. A creative,
playful, yet remarkably powerful approach to leadership,
teambuilding, and personal and professional development
utilizing horses as consummate facilitators.
The Equus Experience helps you establish an unassailable
sense of clarity, authority, dominion, and power in your life
and work. Participants will:
• Learn the art of collaborative intelligence
• Use curiosity and creativity to enhance leadership development
• Ignite a sense of wonder that inspires the way we choose to live, love and work
• Discover clear, authentic ways to communicate that foster trust and collaboration
• Evoke inner wisdom, courage and creativity
• Gain increased self-understanding and acceptance
Estimated Cost: Half-day to two-day completely customizable programs from $235 to $800 per guest.
Group Size: 20-40 people, includes: Lunch, Snacks and Beverages and two trained facilitators.
Duration: From 4 hours for half-day to 7 hours each day.
ROCK CLIMBING
Guests will begin their adventure with expert instruction learning about the
basics of rock climbing in the White Rock or Los Conchas area. The group will
then be guided and belayed on a variety of exciting climbing routes (top-roping)
in the area.
Estimated Cost: $135 per person includes transportation, guided instruction,
equipment, gourmet box lunch, snacks, beverages, and souvenir water bottle.
Group Size: Minimum of 10
Duration: Approximately 7.5 hours
Other activity options include Horseback Riding (see description above), Skeet
Shooting, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Tent Rocks Adventure, Hot Air Ballooning and
Llama Trekking.
FAREWELL EVENING AT RESORT
A Celebration of Native American Culture: We have designed
a very fun evening of Native American “edu-entertainment”
that combines education and entertainment from the Native
American Culture. Prior to dinner, a Native dance group will
perform a variety of traditional dances and talk about the history behind the dances.
After dinner, a talented and award-winning musician will
combine Native American storytelling with enchanting flute
playing entertainment.
Estimated Cost: The Native dance group entertainment is
$950 and the flute and story-telling entertainment is $700.
Site rental, food and beverage can be arranged separately with
Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa catering professionals.
