This Exhibitor Manual (A) has three parts,which are “General Information” , “Booth Construction” and “Travel
and Hotel Accommodation” .You will find detailed information of the coming exhibition,please pay attention
to the deadline for forms submitting in this manual.

◆ Vehicles for exhibition construction
1. Large trucks
will be allowed to enter New CIEC starting at 7:00 am on October 20, 2014 and shall leave the place immediately
after discharging the goods.
2. Small vehicles
can enter the designated parking lot with passes.
◆ Exhibitors shall be aware of during construction
1. Construction safety
Please strictly follow the requirements of the Rules on Construction Safety when setting up the exhibition stands.
During the booth construction period, all persons entering the exhibition hall should wear safety helmets.
2. Property security
Exhibitors are kindly reminded to take good care of their belongings and take their valuables with them. In case of
emergency or encounter of suspicious persons, please inform the public security office of New CIEC immediately.
3. Furniture and fittings
For furniture and fittings rented via sources other than official stand fitter-PICO, a warrant has to be issued to the
construction company by PICO in order to avoid any potential damages caused by poor quality services.
4. Public aisles
After the construction, any exhibits, display tools and empty boxes in the public aisles shall be moved away and
public aisles shall be cleared of any obstructions.

Exhibition Dismantling Instructions
◆ Time for dismantling
3:00 pm–9:00 pm, October 24, 2014
◆ Exhibitors shall be aware of during dismantling
1. Dismantling time
The dismantling time period specified by the exhibition center is 3:00 pm–9:00 pm, October 24, 2014, and no
exhibitors will be allowed to take any exhibits out of their stands before that time period.
2. Rules for dismantling
All boxed articles should have a bill of loading before the transportation out of the hall.
3. Deposits
According to the requirements of New CIEC, only after the inspection and verification that all the exhibition materials
have been removed and all the wastes have been moved out of the exhibition hall will the deposit of the exhibitor
be returned to the exhibitors. When taking back their deposits, exhibitors shall show the receipts of the deposits.
4. Procedures for dismantling
a) Fill out bill of loading
b) Power cut off
c) Hand carried exhibits dismantling
d) Packaging of special exhibits
e) Transportation of the packages
f) Disassemble the exhibit booths
g) Ship the scraps to designated locations
h) Organizer to inspect the site and sign for acceptance
i) Dismantling finished
j) Deposit refund (within one month after the exhibition)

As the roads around New CIEC are under expansion construction,this map is just for your reference.
Driving direction
Take Jingcheng Expressway—exit from Huosha Rd. (Houshayu tollbooth)—drive onto Huosha Rd.—reach Luoma
Roundabout—go south for Tianbei Rd.—New CIEC is on the left side.
Metro line
Take Metro line 13 at Dongzhimen station—get off at Wangjingxi station—take Metro line 15—get off at Guozhan
Station.
Bus lines
Take bus 915 (to Shunyi),916 (to Huairou),918 (to Pinggu) or 970 (to Miyun) at Dongzhimen bus station (departure)
and get off at Maliandian bus station.
You can also take bus 915,916,918,970 respectively from Shunyi,Huairou,Pinggu or Miyun and get off at Maliandian
bus station.

a. Take the 6th ring road—exit at Shunping tollbooth—enter Shunping road—get to Kuliushu roundabout—drive

b. take the East 6th ring road—exit at Shunping road junction—enter Shunping road—get to Kuliushu roundabout—

Raw Space Booth Construction
◆ Point for attention
Environment friendly and fire resistant materials shall be selected for the construction of stands.Push pull connectors
without naked contacts will be used for power connection.If terminals are to be used for connection,terminals
must be completely enclosed without any exposure (fire resistant insulated and surface mounted boxes can be
used for the enclosure).Duplex insulation sheath copper wires shall be used for all the electric wires and the
insulating strength shall conform to the standards.The conductor’s cross-section area shall be determined based
on the power consumption. The minimum cross-section of insulated wires for lights shall be 1 mm2.For inflammable
materials,fire resistance material shall be painted on the surface.
Exhibitors are responsible and liable for their contractor’s observance of all rules and regulations.
2. Restrictions of the exhibition halls
Height limit shall not be exceeded,and when found guilt of breach,the organizer is entitled to ask the exhibitor for
rectification.A clearance of 1 meter shall be kept between the back side of the stand and the wall and clearance
shall be 1.2 meters for fire fighting equipment,toilets and junction boxes.No decorations shall be suspended from
the ceiling and no anchor device shall be fixed on the floor,the wall or any other surface of the exhibition halls.No
adhesive shall be applied to the walls of the exhibition halls.Any damage incurred by the construction and
dismantling of the stand shall be indemnified by the responsible exhibitor.Any facilities within the stand shall be
kept within the border of the stand and exhibits shall impose no obstruction to other exhibitors.
All stands in the exhibition,irrespective of height,must have at least half of the frontage on each side open or
fitted with transparent materials to the underside of the fascia.
3. Decoration of the back side
To ensure the overall consistence of the exhibition,exhibitors whose stands are higher than their neighboring
stands shall decorate the back sides of their stands above the others.If any exhibitors found not in conformance
to it,the host has the right to enforce the regulation.
◆ Application for construction
1. Exhibitors shall entrust the construction to competent companies with legal construction licenses.
2. Exhibitors or construction contractors shall submit their stand designs and the architecture visualizations to the
pointed official stand fitter company before September 4, 2014.If the design is not in conformance to the rules,
the organizer has the right to ask for the redesign of the stand.Please send pictures to [email protected]
(East halls) and [email protected] (West hall).
3. Exhibitors or booth contractors shall submit their construction drawings,including architecture visualizations,
plans,3D drawings,wiring diagrams,detailed structure of the construction (sizes, specifications of all the materials as
well as the dimensions,booth number,name of the exhibitor and so on shall be noted on all the drawings) to the
pointed official stand fitter-Beijing Pico Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. for approval before September 18,2014.

4. Exhibitors shall inform their contractors to pay the construction administration fee and make reservations for
power, pressed air,water supply and so on to the pointed official stand fitter company no later than September 18, 2014.
*At least 30% of the total fee will be surcharged if the payment overdue.
5. For detailed instructions of stand construction,please read Rules on Exhibition Construction of New
CIEC as well as the Details for Implementation.
◆ Important parameters for construction
Height limits: 5 meters
Maximum height for booths converted from standard ones or close to a wall is 3.5 meters.
Ground bearing: 5 tons /sq. m
Load bearing for suspension point: 50 kg / suspension point
Extra charges to be collected,suspension only for banner and flag.
Allowed time period to hang objects is subject to the organizer’s arrangement.
For flag hanging or other on site operations which will incur extra costs like overtime fees,please contact the official
stand fitter for details.

Booth Construction
1. Fire fighting and safety
Shell Scheme Booth Construction
◆ Point for attention
1. Furnishings/fixings to be added
Exhibitors are not allowed to change the structure of the stand or have additional furnishings/ fixings.If the configuration
of the booth are to be moved or to be changed (e.g. to add power supply,light boxes,or to change the lightings),the organizer shall be informed before September 18,2014 and the detailed design and explanations shall
be provided at the same time.Extra charges shall be collected from the exhibitors for additional expenses
incurred by the changes.If any violation of the rules or any related incidents are found due to the change, the
violating party will be held responsible for all the legal consequences.
2. Conditions of propretary construction
In principle a booth with an area of less than 36 sq. m is not allowed to be changed to raw space booth.If
exhibitors do insist, they should send their requests in writing to and ask for the approval of the organizer
before August 10,2014.
3. Height limits of the stands
The partition walls of the stands are 2.5 meters high and all the exhibits shall not exceed the height.During the
exhibition,any exhibits shall not be placed outside the area of rented stand.Otherwise,the organizer has the
right to ask the exhibitor to recover the stand to its original status and pay for the relevant expenses.
4. Fascia boards processing
Fascia boards will be produced by the organizer.Included on the fascia boards are Chinese and English names
of the exhibiting company and the booth number.Exhibitors are not allowed to change the contents of the fascia
boards and add any logos without the permit of the organizer.
◆ Stand configuration
Partition walls on three sides (two sides for stands on corners);
Full carpeting (9 sq. m);
One desk and one round table;
three folding chairs;
220V power socket;
Fascia board with Chinese and English company names on it;
Stand cleaning during the exhibition.

Rules and Regulation
◆ Safety issues of the exhibition halls
1.The person in charge of exhibiting shall be the one who responsible for the safety of stand.He/she shall inform the
team members and the construction workers of the safety rules of the exhibition and put safety at the highest
priority.
2. Power consumption (lighting included) of each shell scheme booth shall not be more than 1000W and application
shall be made in advance if that limitation is going to be surpassed.
3. Storage of gasoline,banana oil,thinners,and paint as well as other inflammable and explosive materials in the halls
are strictly forbidden.Fire fighting equipment within the exhibition halls are not allowed to be relocated and access
to them is not allowed to be blocked.
4. Facilities within the exhibition halls shall be taken good care of and no advertisements shall be put on doors,windows,
walls,pillars,as well as other public facilities.No damage to the interior decorations of the exhibition halls shall be
made.
5. Smoking and alcohol within the exhibition halls are strictly forbidden.
6. Valuable articles shall not be kept in the halls overnight.After an exhibition hall is closed,the person responsible for
the safety of stand shall check the completeness of exhibits and switch off power when he/she leaves.
7. A list of articles transported into the exhibition halls shall be prepared by each exhibitor and a note of approval shall
be presented in order to take these articles out of the halls.
The Regulation issued by The Fire Control Bureau of Beijing Municipality requires that the empty boxes and the
waste are not allowed to remain inside the exhibition halls during show period.The exhibitors are kindly suggested
to take them out of the halls after move-in,or to entrust the official forwarder with the storage of empty boxes.All the
boxes and the waste left at the public area (in aisle and behind the booth) every day after the hall are closed will be
at the disposal of the event organizer.
◆ Issues that exhibitors shall be aware of
1. Halls are open for exhibitors at 8:30 am every day and will be cleared and closed at 5:00 pm.Exhibitor personnel
shall leave the halls after all the visitors are out and no overtime will be permitted.There will be no break time at
noon and stands shall remain attended during lunch time.
2. Exhibitor personnel shall wear their passes to get inside the halls and the passes shall not be given to others.In
case one of the personnel shall be changed,a filing shall be made with the New CIEC.Loss of exhibitor passes
shall be reported immediately and a new one can be issued against the verification of the exhibitor.
3. Exhibitors are kindly asked to keep quiet within the exhibition halls and the volume shall be lower than 65 db if
loudspeakers or hi-fi systems are to be used. For those who fail to follow the rules, the organizer has the right to
take corrective actions.
4. Order within the halls shall be kept and instructions from the host of the exhibition shall be followed.No leaflets
shall be distributed in the aisles.When too many visitors crowd in one place,assistance shall be provided to the
staff of New CIEC to guide the visitors out and to avoid any hazards.
◆ Intellectual property right items
1. Counterfeit and inferior products are prohibited to be displayed in the exhibition and no illegal copying of software
shall be allowed.No overstatement or infringe of third party rights in marketing materials shall be included.Any
unfair competition methods such as building oneself by belittling others will be opposed.
2. Exhibits shall have legal trademark registration certificates or valid authorization/engagement letters issued by the
trademark owners.Exhibits shall be cleared of any infringement of trademarks or any other intellectual property
rights.If an exhibitor is found guilty of breaching,all the legal consequences thereof shall be taken by it.

Remarks
1. Swindle and illegal lease activity often occur in exhibition hall recently.To assure your legitimate right,please order
rental furniture and fittings from PICO–The official contractor.
2. Screwing,drilling,nailing or painting on any of the aluminum frames and panel of standard shell scheme booth are
not allowed.Otherwise,the exhibitions or their appointed contractors shall be liable for the total loss resulting in
and charge for the damage will be made the following price list.
3. In order to prevent panels from damage,exhibitors are not allowed touse any adhesive(including foam-type
double-sided tape)medium except Velcro or double-sided tape. Further,it is the exhibitors’ responsibility to
remove all the Velcro or double-sided tape before they leave at the end of the exhibition.Failure to comply with
any of the above-mentioned condition will result in a penalty cost being claimed upon the exhibitors.
4. Please do not use our lightings as a support to hang anything and make sure our furniture items can support your
products.No compensation will be given to goods damaged.
5. PICO IES GROUP (CHINA) CO., LTD. will not undertake any financial or legal responsibility for any of personal
belongings and exhibits.Exhibitors and therefore responsible for taking care of their property including those per
sonal belongings,displays and exhibits.
6. Any relocation on site is subjected to service charge.Relocation for items not listed above, please check with our
site office.

4. Packing and its Limitation
Please note that the exhibits are repeatedly loaded and unloaded, thus they must be professionally packed to suit
long distance transportation. Measures must be taken to protect the exhibits against damage and adverse weather
conditions. We suggest that all exhibits should be securely packed in sturdy waterproof crates suitable for return
shipments after the exhibition. Carton is not recommended, especially for valuable and fragile items. Oriental
K-Trans Int’l logistics (Beijing) Co., Ltd. can not be responsible for the consequences associated with improper
packing.

2. Cargo arriving beyond deadlines, a surcharge amounting to 30% of the inbond movement charges and

3. Return of empty container to depot or collection of empty container from depot

charged according to outlay.
11. All wooden cases, pallets and containers with wooden base will have to be fumigated before return
ing to USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and some European Community Countries. All charges incurred
will be charged as per outlay.
