Visiting Team Information
Friday Practice
Houchens Smith Stadium will be available for practice on Friday. Contact Greg Brohm (270-745-7027) and Craig Biggs (270-9914686) to arrange a time. Visiting teams will be provided with towels, drinks and ice for practice. Contact Drew Hampton (Equipment
Manager — (270-799-4981) or Bryan Schneider (Associate Athletic Trainer — (270-438-6686) for your practice needs.
Stadium
Houchens Smith Stadium, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky on the campus of Western Kentucky University, holds 23,000 spectators and is a Field Turf playing surface. Visiting team seating is located in section 136 and 335 (see map).
Police Escort
Police escort services are arranged through the Western Kentucky University police department. Please contact Captain Kerry
Hatchett at (270) 779-5000 to arrange escort services for your team.
Visiting Team Will Call
The player guest admission entrance is located at Gate 5 (see map). The visiting team guest entrance opens 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
WKU follows NCAA guidelines regarding player complimentary admissions. Players’ guests will be admitted only with a picture
ID. Visiting teams must provide an institutional representative to supervise your player guest admissions. For more information
regarding will-call or player guest admissions, please contact the WKU Ticket Office at (270) 745-5222.
Sideline
The visiting team sideline is located on the north (same side as the Press Box) side of the stadium. Forty (40) bench credentials will
be provided. Any additional pass requests should be directed to Kyle Neaves, WKU Director of Media Relations, at (270) 745-3756.
The team bench area extends from 25-yard line to 25-yard line. The sideline area will be equipped with six benches, two tables,
electric outlets, a water outlet and trash cans. Please contact Drew Hampton at (270) 799-4981.
Press Box Coaches’ Booth
The visiting team will be assigned an enclosed area in the Press Box. Credentials for the coaches’ booth will be included with
the team credentials and parking permits.
Coaches Headset System
Houchens Smith Stadium is equipped with 12 dry pairs of phone lines for your headset system. A technician will be available during Friday practice (upon request) and on the sideline during the game. If you have any special requests or questions concerning the
communication setup, please contact Eric McIntyre, Telecommunications Engineer, (270) 799-3295.
Visiting AD’s Box
Each visiting AD and president will be provided with a maximum of eight tickets for the visiting team hospitality box. The box is
located at the north end of the press box, closest to endzone with the berm and scoreboard.
Ambulance
A game dedicated ambulance with paramedics will be on site for care and transportation near the north endzone. Questions should
be directed to Bryan Schneider, WKU Associate Athletic Trainer at (270) 745-4356.

Video Positions
Camera positions are available for game video in the end zone opposite the scoreboard and in the press box. For more information
regarding filming arrangements, contact John Riley, Football Video Coordinator, at (270) 745-6027.
Team Buses
Parking is available for three (3) team-related buses to be parked inside the Adams Street parking lot. Space will be provided for
one (1) Trainer/Equipment bus. All other buses must park in designated area in the Creason or Adams Street Parking Lots.
Contact Craig Biggs for all tranportation-related logistics. Note: Avenue of Champions closes six hours prior to kickoff to through
traffic. Team buses will be allowed through the blockade. Please take this into account when coordinating arrival times on game day.
Topper Walk
Two hours prior to kickoff, access to Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium via the Avenue of Champions (closest to the visiting
locker room) will be unavailable for 30 minutes while WKU conducts its Topper Walk to the stadium. Please plan your arrival to the
stadium accordingly in order to avoid delays once on campus. For details on gameday arrival, contact Associate AD, Craig Biggs,
at 270-991-4686.
Locker Room Security
A security attendant remains on duty outside the visiting team locker room during the entire game.

Training Room
The visiting team athletic training room is located adjacent to the visiting team locker room.
X-Ray Service
X-ray service will be available at the WKU Health Services Building on campus and the local hospitals.
Emergency Services
There will be an ambulance stationed at Houchens Smith Stadium. The ambulance will be able to drive onto the field
in the case of an emergency. Emergency personnel can also transport an athlete off the field to the ambulance by a
stretcher/backboard or by an emergency equipped cart.
Ice/Beverages
Ice will be provided for your lockerroom and sideline.
Six cases of Powerade will be provided on game day. Cups and coolers will be provided as needed.
300 towels will also be provided.

-Get off on the second exit (Exit 7) from Natcher Parkway
-Turn left onto Russellville Road
-Follow Russellville Road to University Boulevard adn turn left
-The baseball, football and basketball facilities will all be on your right in that order
From Cumberland Parkway:
-Get onto I-65 South to Nashville
-Take first Bowling Green exit (Exit 28) by the Corvette Museum
-The road will divide; take the left road that becomes Louisville Road
-Follow Louisville Road until it becomes University Boulevard
-Turn left at the Stadium
From I-65:
-Take exit #20 to the Natcher Parkway
-Follow this to Exit 7
-Turn right onto Russellville Road
-Follow Russellville Road to University Boulevard and turn left
