Energy efficiency as a service!
There is an over­consumption of energy in almost all organizations today. This means totally
unnecessary costs and negative environmental impact. Energy efficiency as a service will
match energy supply with the actual use in order to eliminate unnecessary consumption.
Experience from several completed projects shows that the energy costs and carbon emissions
can be reduced with as much as 60%, which is a very attractive reduction for any company.

­ We want to help our customers control and streamline their energy consumption to what is
actually needed, says Thomas Cuénant, CEO of Strategic Innovation. When energy used
increase or decrease the energy supply is automatically adjusted. The benefits are reductions in
both costs and CO2 emissions.
A savings of between 30­60% of the energy costs for IT are far from uncommon, and can be
realized in most organizations. The benefits generated by limiting excess capacity, can now be
accomplished easily through the service ­ Energy efficiency as a service supplied by TDC.
TDC with its network expertise, can deliver Energy efficiency as a subscription service. The
service can combine data between offices, data centers and facilities. Total energy consumption
can now be allocated to each energy­using equipment that can be addressed and adjusted
individually. This leads to making the equipment available only when it is used, and it can be put
in sleep mode during times of lower usage. The service can measure, analyze and accurately
calculate the benefits of energy efficiencies. The service can be ordered through TDC and
Strategic Innovation will provide expertise in Energy Management and their applied knowledge of
cost­cutting measures.
