IRC ENTRANCE TIMES
EXHIBITORS
The International Rights Centre is open for table holders (orange badges) from
8.00am, Tuesday – Thursday to allow table holders time to prepare themselves for
their first meeting.
VISITORS
Visitors cannot gain access to The London Book Fair until 9.00am, Tuesday –
Thursday. As it may take visitors time to navigate their way to you in the morning, we
suggest starting your first meeting at 9.15 rather than 9.00.
CLOSING TIMES
The fair, including the IRC, closes at 6.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and 5.00pm
on Thursday. We request that your last meeting each day not be scheduled any later
than half an hour before the fair closes. You will be asked to leave the International
Rights Centre once the fair is closed, particularly on Wednesday as the fair will begin
breakdown shortly after this time.
Please note: There is no access to the IRC before Tuesday 8th April 2014
IRC WIFI SERVICE
Earls Court and E-Force have made a significant investment into the Wi-Fi at Earls
Court specifically for the Fair, part of this is upgrading their system to also operate on
5GHz which the newer devices and laptops on the market can connect to.
In order to help control the signal we have had to password protect the Wi-Fi to
ensure that if people don’t need it, then their devices don’t automatically connect
and cause congestion which could cause interference for those that are using it for
work.
FAQ
Please read through the FAQ document via www.londonbookfair.co.uk/wifi which
includes all the essential information you need regarding the upgraded Wi-Fi
system. Please go to www.londonbookfair.co.uk/ircwifi for Wi-Fi login information.
