2. CONGRESS VENUE
The 8th World Research Congress for Palliative Care of the EAPC will take place at
the La Llotja Convention Centre, located on the banks of the River Segre in Lleida.

3. ACCREDITATIONS
All exhibitors should collect their accreditation at the desk to be found in the
exhibition area for the handing out of accreditation.
Barceló Viajes will be available for the collection of accreditation on Tuesday 3 and
Wednesday 4 June.
The collection process will begin on Tuesday 3 June from 18:00 onwards, and on
Wednesday 4 from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 18:00.

Each exhibitor receives 2 free accreditations. Should you require any more, the
charge for registration of an additional exhibitor is 210 euros per person.

4. COMMERCIAL EXHIBITION
4.1. Location of stands
The stands will be located in the Main Fourier at the La Llotja Convention Centre,
guaranteeing maximum interaction among Congress delegates. The exhibition area
will be close to the entrance doors to the auditoria, and also the areas where the
coffee breaks will be served.
A plan of the commercial exhibition area is to be found on page 11.
4.2. Stand rental includes:
• Area of the stand, including 2 chairs and 1 table depending on individual
agreements. The measurements of the basic stands are 6 m2 (3 m wide, 2 m
deep and 2.50 m high)
• Wireless internet free of charge
• Electricity (provide prior information as to your requirements)
• Cleaning of the exhibition area and disposal of rubbish
• Inclusion in the list of exhibitors in the final programme for the Congress.
• 2 free accreditations per exhibitor for every 6 m2

4.3. Standard requirement booking

• Electricity: The convention centre has an electrical system with sufficient
capacity for various stands. Please indicate the electrical equipment you wish
to install at your stand, and e-mail this information to [email protected]

• If you need extra lighting at your stand: please indicate your requirements.
This could incur an additional cost. Send an e-mail to [email protected]

4.4. Dispatch of material for stands:
Please be aware that goods could arrive with some delay. Dispatch materials
sufficiently in advance.

4.5. Stand get-in and get-out
• Stand get-in will take place from Wednesday 4 June, from 08:00 to 20:00.
Please inform us of the approximate time when you plan to begin assembling
your stand.
• Stand get-out must have been completed by Saturday 7 June at 18:00.
In order for the final day of the Congress to run smoothly, we would ask you to
disassemble the stand after lunch.
4.6. Commercial exhibition times
Get-in: Wednesday 4 June 08:00 – 20:00
Commercial exhibition: Thursday 5 June 08:00-18:00
Friday 6 June 08:00-18:00
Saturday 07 June 08:00-15:30
Get-out: Saturday 07 June
4.7. After the Congress:
• Materials must be properly packaged and labelled.
• Each exhibitor will be responsible for the dispatch of their materials.
Please inform us in advance of when you plan to disassemble and remove
your materials.
The shipment form must be properly completed.
Materials must be returned by Monday 9 June at the latest.

• The Convention Centre cannot accept any responsibility for goods left behind
on the premises. Such objects will be removed.
