Instructions for Manual round of Seat allotment For the Manual round of ME admissions Scheduled to take place on 08/08/2014 in Drawing hall of PEC, all the candidates are required to bring the following documents in original for verification along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of following documents and four latest passport size photographs: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Date of birth (DOB) certificate or High School (Class 10) Certificate with DOB Qualifying degree certificate SC/ST Certificate Certificate of Person with disability (Type of disability to be attached) Sponsorship certificate for sponsored candidates GATE score card Copies of mark/grade sheets No Objection/relieving Certificate from employer (for employed candidates) Migration certificate from the institute attended last Undertaking from the institution attended for the non-declaration of result of the last semester / having appeared in last semester as per format given in this application form. Payment of Fees: The selected candidates will be required to deposit the Institute fees (as applicable) in the form of Demand Draft in favor of “Director, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh” payable at Chandigarh. 1. For GATE Qualified Candidates: Rs.33,250/2. For Non GATE Qualified Candidate: Rs.53,250/3. For Candidate taking admission in self supporting programme: Rs.75,750/Note: The fee is required to be paid immediately upon offer of admission, failing which the seat will be canceled and offered to the next candidate in the order of Merit. Important : 1. In case the result is given in grade point, an authenticated copy of formula for conversion to % marks should be attached. 2. A candidate seeking admission under SC/ST categories has to submit his/her caste certificate from the competent authority at the time of reporting. The admission of these candidates will be subject to the verification of their caste/tribe certificate by the issuing authority. 3. In the case of new allotment in subsequent rounds, the present allotment will automatically stand cancelled. Note : Candidates desirous of availing hostel facilities are required to pay the hostel fee of Rs. 43,100/(Rupees Forty Three Thousand One Hundred Only) at the time of physical reporting in the form of demand draft in favour of "The Director, PEC University of Technology" payable at Chandigarh. However, hostel rooms will be allotted subject to availability. Rooms will be allotted as per the Hostel/Room allocation policy 2014-15 (Policy available on institute web site).
