All of the companies that request their participation as exhibitors in INTERMODA accept these
general rules which are an integral part of the exhibition agreement, in addition to the specific
operations regulations of the event.

With the aim of attending our exhibitors properly, any clarification, comment or complaint,
regarding INTERMODA, exposure must be made in writing to the Organizing Committee
preferably on the same day that incidents are produced.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
1.- Schedule
Your staff should present themselves at the booth at least (1) one hour before the exhibition opens
to the public and they must not leave until the exhibition schedule has finished. The exhibition
hours are from 9:00 hrs. to 20:00 hrs. from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 and from 9:00 hrs. to
17:00 hrs. on Friday 17. The exhibitors who are not in their booth or do not open their booth after
8:15 hrs. will receive a penalty notification. If during the event they receive 2 or more notifications
of retardation, they will be penalized with $500.00 (Five hundred pesos 00/100 National
Currency) for each retardation, and the amounts collected will be destined for benefits or
support to buyers.
2.- Promotional materials
The distribution and exhibition of samples, brochures, and all kind of promotional material will be
performed exclusively in each exhibitor's space. In case promotional bags are given, these bags
must not exceed the measurment of 38 cm wide x 43 cm height; otherwise, they will be removed
from the booth and returned at the end of the exhibition.
All types of assemblies or exhibitions in areas defined as aisles are prohibited.
The Jalisco Hall has an exclusive sound equipment for the services of emergency paging and
background music, not for promotional effects.
The use of body painting is strictly prohibited.
The Organizing Committee as well as the security personnel will have the right to close down the
booth(s) that are occupying the aisles as exhibition space.
3.- Badges
Badges are non-transferable, they will not be replaced in case of loss, and you may not circulate
inside the exhibition without them.

The amount of badges assigned is based on the number of booths hired
The badges will be supplied in the registration module, located in lobby I, from 08:00 hrs. on
Saturday 11, and Sunday 12 to Monday 13 in the Organizing Committee's module located in lobby
IV.
During the assembly, event, and disassembly the exhibitor as well as all of the personnel involved
must wear visibly their id badges, no exceptions; otherwise the security personnel will deny their
entrance or permanency within the exhibition area.
People who do not duly accredit themselves as specialized buyers may not enter, even with an
invitation.
These points are invariable and no exceptions shall be made under any circumstances.

4.- Sound in the Exhibition Area
The use of any type of sound equipment is prohibited, including tape recorders, portable
equipment, screens, televisions, personal computers, and lap tops. Failure to comply with this
norm shall result in the security personnel proceeding to cut off the electricity and, if the case may
be, to dismantle the signs and close the booth, without the exhibitor has the right to a refund of the
amounts paid or to any type of compensation. The use of loudspeakers is prohibited during the
event.
5.- Security
The Organizing Committee in conjunction with the security service will keep order 24 hrs. a day
during the assembly, event, and disassembly days. However, during the assembly, exhibition, and
disassembly times (See schedules on page 10), the exhibitor shall be responsible for the security
of his or her booth. The Organizing Committee is exempt from any responsibility in case of
loss or theft.
In case of any situation of disorder, please notify the security personnel or the Organizing
Committee immediately.
Expo Guadalajara has an infirmary area located in lobby I that provides first aid during the
assembly, event, and disassembly days with personnel, medical equipment, and medicine.
Likewise, INTERMODA has an ambulance located in the Marshalling Yard & Loading Docks in
Door 1 in case of emergency.
6.- Parking Area
Absolutely all of the vehicles that access the parking areas must pay the fee corresponding to the
public.
The areas destined for parking may only be used for vehicles with a maximum load capacity of a
ton, and its use as a site for the exhibition, sale, or promotion of products is prohibited.
7.- Furniture and Decoration
The Organizing Committee will not provide any type of decorative element or furniture for your
booth. They must be leased and paid by the exhibitor.
Live animals in the booth are prohibited.
The projection of any type of image or light beams outside the assigned space is prohibited.
The use of balloons inflated with light gases for the decoration of the booth is prohibited, as well as
giving them to the visitors. Their use shall be permitted when they are fixed to a structural element
of the booth or are filled with inoffensive heavy gases that prevent them from rising.
Once the exhibition is inaugurated, it is strictly prohibited to circulate
with any type of vehicle, including baby strollers and carriers, except

8.- Photography and Video Equipment
Professional photographic and video cameras are prohibited.
Dear exhibitor, Intermoda organizing committee, lets you know that there will be a photographer at
the event, who will be identified by his/her badge, this person might take photos from your
exhibition booth. We mention this to you, to let him/her do this activity because it is for the images
file of the event. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
9.- Children
Children under 14 years old are not allowed.
The entry of minors will be authorized exclusively for the exhibitors of the children's area who
require their presence as models of their line, provided they notify the Organizing Committee the
following information:
a) Exhibitor or booth(s) that request them
b) Amount of children
c) Names
d) Name of the person who will be responsible for their care
e) Identify them with a model badge.
It is being understood that their access to the exhibition venue will be authorized exclusively for the
days of the exhibition and their entry on the days of assembly and disassembly is strictly prohibited,
and specifying that the responsibility for the custody of the children shall lie solely with the exhibitor
and the Committee shall be free of all responsibility.
10.- FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Intermoda informs you that by order of the Feria Expo Guadalajara venue, for the following
editions, food and beverages other than those offered in the exhibition center are strictly
prohibited.
11.- CONTROL OF EQUIPMENT AND GOODS
The equipment and goods authorized for the exhibition that are subject to the entry and exit
controls are:

The exhibitor is responsible for those goods during the stipulated exhibition times, as well as during
assembly and disassembly, and INTERMODA is only responsible during the night schedule, from
20:00 hrs. to 8.00 hrs., on Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15, and Thursday 16.

The signs, pennants, and/or decoration of the exhibitors must comply with what is set forth in
the regulations of “Heights Allowed”. No object that hangs from the ceiling structure must
exceed 8.85 ft. long. If it is an element with a support base on the floor, it must have a
maximum height of 16.40 ft. Only the personnel of the exhibition center may place objects on
the structure.

The Guadalajara Hall does not have hanging points, thus this type of
decoration is not available for the exhibitors in this area.

1.- Fork-lifts
The fork-lift type vehicles destined for maneuvers within the venue must be authorized by the
operations management of Expo Guadalajara, mainly establishing that they use pneumatic tires
and the service is only used in the Jalisco Hall.
* Service available in the Services Module of Expo Guadalajara.
2.- Lighting and Assembly Extra Time
During the assembly and disassembly maneuvers in the exhibition areas only 50% of the lighting
will be offered. In case more lighting time is needed, you must request it at the services module of
Expo Guadalajara and you must cover the additional cost of this supply.
Assembly must be concluded in its entirety at
22:00 hrs. on Monday 13 at the latest.

According to the rules of operations of Expo Guadalajara, in regard to the installation of double
height booths, the maximum height allowed by this center is 16.40 ft. They must also Extreme
security measures in the assembly, and building materials systems and electrification of the
same.
The Rules of Operation of Expo Guadalajara determines the possibility for the organizing
committee to authorize the installation of double-decker booth, when the organizing Committee
authorized the construction of a booth of this nature, it must be accompanied by the following
documentation:
a. The floor plan (knowing what it is being assembled).
b. Structural plan (specifications of columns, beams, etc. These especifications must be pointed
out on the structural plan)
c. Workshop plan (to assemble the structure according to the technical specifications).
d. Memory calculation and structural reports issued and signed by an expert on the subject (how
much resists per square meter structure dead loads and live loads).
e. A policy of liability insurance comprehensive coverage, that covers personal injuries, loss of
limbs, death and damage to property of another material. Of any event due to partial or total
collapse of the structure or materials subject to the same might cause.
f. A responsive letter in which the exhibitor in full possession of his mental faculties and of their own
volition, decide to make your double-decker booth, so free from all liability, Administrative, Civil,

REGULATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BOOTH
Operating Regulation indicates: Permanently is supported both Civil Protection State of Jalisco,
and the; H. Fire Department of the City of Guadalajara, attending the same compound, in each
exhibition / event, to oversee and advise on the security measures taken to prevent accidents. So
the Exhibitors are required to be cleared by security measures in its structure or failing to comply
with any recommendations that you could do in your booth.
It is not allowed to join booths with bridges or elevated above the aisles, with any
object or material, including, tarps, banners, fabrics, paper, wire, etc.
Any violation of this section shall be subject to a financial penalty, blaming the exhibitor of the
charges resulting from these actions.
4.- Decoration
The booths built at a level higher that 8.20 ft. must have the posterior parts of the design decorated;
that is, they must cover with material the parts of its structure that affect the decoration of the
booths surrounding it. It is strictly prohibited to occupy the spaces of the columns with stockrooms
or dressing rooms. All of the material left in those spaces will be removed without consulting the
exhibitor and with no exceptions.
5.- Assembly
Works of carpentry, ironworks, use of saws, compressors, air guns, as well as products that effect
the environment, use of soil, straw, etc. are prohibited. The metallic or wooden structures must be
delivered pre-built. The use of plaster, drywall, or any construction material that requires hard labor
is banned.
6.- Damages
The exhibitors are not allowed to tie from the columns, nail, screw, drill, or glue anything on ceilings,
floors, walls, panels and columns, furniture, screens, or any structure property of the exhibition
center. Any damage caused to the building in its premises, as well as theft and/or damage to any
equipment of the exhibition center will be sanctioned, being the exhibitor or accountable party
responsible for the charges that may arise from these actions.
In case of requiring to install assembly adhesive tape
on the floor, masking tape is allowed only.
The use of any flammable or toxic substance is strictly prohibited.
It is prohibited to perform work within the exhibition center during the days of the event, thus the
maintenance or alterations of the booths are limited to minimum adjustments.
Crossing the common areas and aisles with electric cables or any other installation is prohibited,
both on the floor and top part.

ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT:
We ask you to verify the location for the construction of your booth in your floor plan to determine
the possibility of requesting a modification.
The changes made by the Organizing Committee only include adding or removing panels. If you
would like your booth to be completely clear, let us know please, for not building.
1.- Registration and mounting income
The registration for assembly and delivery of bracelets for all exhibitors will be from the 10:00 hrs.
On Saturday 11 in the first maneuvering area by Faro Avenue, behind Expo Guadalajara. The
exhibitors of Mexico hall will be able to enter through the ramp located at Mariano Otero Av. only.
The bracelet for assembling is portable for days and hours indicated only, Saturday 11, Sunday 12
and Monday 13.The assembly and decoration staff who does not wear the bracelet must leave the
work area.
Note: We recommend you to know the location of the
booths that will be assembled, when you pick up your bracelets.

3-. Procedure for Unloading and Entry for Assembly
3.1 Only the vehicles with merchandises, decoration equipment, and samples that have the
authorization of the Organizing Committee in accordance with the specifications that are
mentioned in point number I shall get in line.
3.2 Access of vehicles, loading and unloading of merchandises.
The assembly schedule is from 10.00 hrs. to 22.00 hrs. on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12, and from
8.00 hrs. to 22.00 hrs. on Monday 13. Access to Expo Guadalajara will be carried out through the
doors and on the days and hours indicated in each case. Access will be exclusively to unload the
materials. The vehicles may not remain parked.
Neither Expo Guadalajara nor INTERMODA are responsible for their surveillance while they
remain in the loading and unloading zones. In no case is Expo Guadalajara responsible for the
contents of the mentioned vehicles.
The regulations of the Marshalling Yard & Loading Docks of Expo Guadalajara must be strictly
followed at all times.
1. The maximum time for loading and unloading within the Marshalling Yard & Loading
Docks shall be according to what is assigned in the enclosed chart. If this time is exceeded,
the driver and/or responsible party of the vehicle shall be fined $100.00 pesos plus TAX for
every 5 exceeding minutes.
2. The charge of the fine is generated at the exit booth where it is channeled to the services
module for its respective payment and, if needed, its invoice.
3. Once the vehicle is unloaded it must be removed from the Marshalling Yard & Loading
Docks, leaving the platform free for maneuvers.
4. For disassembly, you must move your equipment and/or materials from the area of the
event to the platform area beforehand. At that time the vehicle control personnel will provide
an access authorization for your vehicle.
5. The platform area is NOT a parking lot, nor storage area; it must only be used for the
loading and unloading of events carried out in Expo Guadalajara.
6. Expo Guadalajara is not responsible in case of theft or damages caused to your
vehicles, as well as your equipment and/or materials.
7. Expo Guadalajara reserves the right of entrance of vehicles and pedestrians to the
Marshalling Yard & Loading Docks.
4.- Specifications carriages, carts and platforms.
All loading equipment and towed gear within the exhibition ground must comply with the following
features:
Plataform with 4 rubber tires of 8 inches, Tires performa gray, 2 back fixed tires, and 2 front swivel
tires.
The exhibitor is obliged to inform the companies hired to perform the transportation,
loading, and unloading of merchandises about the content of the provisions of these
regulations that may affect them based on the work entrusted to them by the exhibitor.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The exhibitor who does not comply with what is stipulated in the previous points may not enter the
venue to perform the assembly work, nor participate in the event, nor demand any type of refund. In
case the exhibitor is not present on the stipulated day and sends a person hired to assemble the
booth, he or she must inform that person of the procedures and payments to be carried out in order
to begin the work.

5.- Removal of Assembly Materials
The exhibitor is severally obliged with his or her contractor to remove all of the waste derived
directly from his or her activity or from his or her contractor's activity at the end of the exhibition,
including assembly materials, decoration, plastics, containers, etc.
Thus, all of the exhibitors as well as the companies hired and/or sub-hired to perform the assembly
and/or disassembly of the booths, are obliged to assemble, disassemble, and remove all of the
materials used for the assembly in the time periods established for those specific activities.
After the time established for the disassembly of the booths has elapsed, all of the materials that
still remain in the hall will be removed by Expo Guadalajara, losing the exhibitor the right to claim for
losses or damages of the materials and being responsible for the expenses related to their
removal, which will be invoiced by Expo Guadalajara in accordance with the established fees (see
fees on page 26 section III).
It is obligation of the Exhibitor to remove the
masking tape residue off the floor.

EXHIBITION AND DISASSEMBLY
Exhibition Days
1.- The exhibitor must arrive at 8:00 hrs. to receive his or her booth, as the Organizing Committee
will not be responsible for the booths that are not received at this time. Likewise, you may not
remain in your booths after 20:30 hrs. for no reason.
The exhibitor must operate his or her exhibition areas during the entire time of the event, with the
purpose of keeping a good image and being in charge of the merchandises.
2.- Opening hours for buyers will be from 9:00 hrs. to 20:00 hrs. from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16
and from 9:00 hrs. to 17:00 hrs. on Friday 17.
3.- Entrance of merchandises and objects during the exhibition.
For the entrance of all types of materials, objects, and products during the exhibition, every
exhibitor must request an individual permit from the Organizing Committee and abide by the
established schedules from 8:00 hrs. to 9:00 hrs. from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17. and from 20:00
hrs. to 20:30 hrs. from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16.
To introduce complimentary souvenirs to offer your buyers or other type of goods during the days of
the event should be only through Gate 1 for exhibitors in GUADALAJARA
and JALISCO Halls, and for exhibitors of MEXICO Hall the ramp located by Mariano Otero Av.
The exhibitor must make sure that the personnel in charge of the supply have the corresponding
badges, so that the security personnel allow them perform their actions.
The vehicles must leave the Marshalling Yard & Loading Docks immediately after finishing
the unloading.
4.- For security reasons no exhibitor may remove merchandises on the days of the event. They
may only take personal objects as well as objects of value and documents.
The sale of samples is prohibited, except on Friday 17, exclusively in the accessories area.
5.- Accident Prevention
Those activities that involve a danger of accident in all of the spaces of the Exhibition Center are
strictly prohibited, both regarding the objects displayed and the assembly and disassembly
elements of the booth. The norms for the prevention of work-related risks that apply to your
transportation, assembly, manipulation, functioning, and disassembly must be strictly followed.
6.- Security Service
During the entire period of the exhibition, INTERMODA provides general security (entrances and
outdoor surveillance) and security inside the hall of a deterring, general safety, and preventative
nature in matters of order and safety against fires or emergencies of any kind. In no case is it
security directed towards the particular belongings of each exhibitor. Therefore, INTERMODA is
not responsible for the theft of the materials and objects located in each booth, or for the damages
that objects, samples, personal items, assembly and/or exhibition materials may suffer before,
during, and after the celebration of the event.
From 20:30 hrs. to 8:00 hrs. of the following day, absolutely no one may enter the exhibition area,
WITH NO EXCEPTIONS to anyone.
We recomend you to close your booth, either by covering it with fabric or placing a strip on the
entrance. This will help to obstruct the entrance of any unauthorized person.

It is very important that you remove anything within reach from the aisles surrounding your booth
which could be easily stolen in case of an evacuation of the exhibition area. Do not leave objects
of value within the booth, such as: personal computers, cell phones, calculators, consumables,
etc. Any partial or total theft must be immediately reported to the security personnel. If you wish to
hire a security member to specifically watch your booth, your may hire the service with:

Disassembly Day
1. The security personnel of the Organizing Committee will visit your booth on Thursday 16 and
Friday 17 during the exhibition hours to check that your booth does no have any damages. In case
of damages in the booth, the exhibitor must go to the Organizing Committee's offices to pay the
determined penalization.
2. The dates for disassembly and removal of samples and decoration will be on Friday 17
beginning at 17:00 hrs. until 24:00 hrs. and Saturday 18 from 8:00 hrs. to 12:00 hrs. The charges
relating to removing the booth, outside The schedule is shown paid by the exhibitor.
DEAR EXHIBITOR AVOID REQUESTING THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE
TO ALLOW YOU TO BRING OUT YOUR MERCHANDISE AND STUFF,
THERE ARE NO PERMISSIONS FOR ANTICIPATED DEPARTURES
UNTIL THE LAST DAYS OF THE EVENT; FRIDAY 17TH AT 17:00
3. The Organizing Committee is exempt from all responsibility for any decorative object or material
not collected by the exhibitor in the premises of the Expo Guadalajara. It is the exhibitor's obligation
to be in his or her booth at the latest at 8:00 hrs. on Saturday 18.
4. No blocking the aisles. Packaging.
For safety reasons, during the assembly and disassembly of the booths, all of the material must
remain inside the limits of the booths, leaving the aisles and other areas completely free. The
cleaning services of the exhibition center will remove any object located in these areas, without the
right to claim for damages.
5.- FINAL PROVISION
These General Rules for Participation are binding both for the exhibitors and the companies they
hire or sub-hire and for any collaborating company that as a result of the celebration of the
exhibition develops works and services at the exhibitor's expense. Thus, the exhibitor is
responsible for handing over these GENERAL RULES FOR PARTICIPATION to the mentioned
hired, sub-hired, or collaborating companies to the extent that they may be affected on account of
the work entrusted by the exhibitor to be developed in the exhibition center.
The non-compliance of the aforementioned rules could entail the disqualification from the event for
a period established by INTERMODA.

For the procurement of services, these should be made via deposit no later than one week before
the event start assembly or otherwise , payment must be made directly .

* pre- pay or deposit on a service, it is recommended to verify billing and service policies , because
once checked , no changes , returns or cancellations.
