T H E S P O RTS V I L L AG E Dear Parents, Welcome to Sutton Day Nursery My name is Michelle Kendrick, Nursery Manager at Sutton Day Nursery. The Nursery originated as a small crèche set up as a service for gym members to use on weekday mornings. As demand for good quality childcare grew in 2006, the crèche became an OFSTED fully registered Children’s Day Care Nursery under the name Playzone. As the Nursery grew and became more successful it rebranded as Sutton Day Nursery in 2010. Situated within The Sports Village, Sutton Day Nursery has the unique advantage of offering a family friendly and homely environment for the children to learn, develop and have fun. The Nursery team are carefully selected to ensure the childcare service meets the expected high standards. Sutton Day Nursery takes every opportunity to take full advantage of the facilities available within the facility and encourages the children to participate in tennis, gymnastics, music and movement sessions, and use the soft play equipment. The team at Sutton Day Nursery recognises every child’s individuality and promotes positive health, well being and development. The future looks exciting with the current development of a nursery expansion enabling to offer more spaces and a new purpose built outdoor play area with the objective of further improving the level of service and facilities. I hope your child enjoys their time with us whilst making friends along the way.
