will try best to hold this exhibition with first-class service.
In order to make exhibitors get complete and timely service, know the preparatory
process of GPOWER2014, be familiar with the relevant rules & regulations of the pavilion
and government, and handle the exhibition procedures successfully, the organizer of
GPOWER2014 compiles and prints GPOWER2014 Exhibitor Manual, please read it
carefully and comply with the clauses, provisions and the deadline of each affair.
Please safekeeping the GPOWER2014 Exhibitor Manual, and in order to make the
registration procedures more convenient and consult the schedule easily, please bring it
to event site.

1.3 The decoration provisions of the standard booth

framework is strictly prohibited.

2.1 Construction Requirements and Provision

The exhibitors who will construct its booth at Shanghai New International Expo Center
(including the exhibitors construct their booth by them selves), must sign Safety
Commitment of the Erection Contractor, and should strictly abide by the Safety
Management Regulations of large-scale events in Shanghai and Shanghai exhibitions,
marketing activities Provisional Regulations on Fire Safety Management and other
relevant laws and regulations, submit to the construction management and supervision
and inspection by organizer and Shanghai New International Expo Center
⑴ Raw space is the open ground provided by the organizer, exhibitor need to design and
decorate it.
⑵ All one-floor-only booths can’t be higher than 4.4mH, 2 floors or more than 2 floors
can’t be higher than 6mH.
⑶ Indoor one-floor-only booths higher than 4.5mH or the booth with top building area over
50% of booth area must submit booth design drawing to HAH Consulting & Exhibition
Co., Ltd Shanghai designated by SNIEC to declare and check. One-floor booth plan
approval fee: 25 Yuan/sq.m (Double-check fee: 18 Yuan/sq.m); 2 floors or more than 2
floors booth plan approval fee: 50 Yuan/sq.m (Double-check fee: 25 Yuan/sq.m). For
relevant provisions and declaration procedures, please consult SNIEC.
⑷ Booth construction material selection has to be in line with non-flammable stipulated by
the National Standard of People's Republic of China and local fire safety regulations of
Shanghai. The use of needles and a variety of cotton elastic cloth as decorative
materials is prohibited.
⑸ The glass using to decorate booth must be reinforced glass and must ensure that the
installation is firm, reliable and clearly, correctly marked to prevent crushing injuries.
⑹ In order to ensure the contact area of the Wall and the ground, the width of the main
wall of booth structure shall not less than 120mm. Large span between the wall and
steel frame structure if is More than 6m should be add an additional beam at the top,
under-part shall add upright post as Support in order to ensure the overall stiffness and
stability
⑺ No smoking in venues.
⑻ Making light box should leave sufficient cooling holes; Rectifier of fluorescent should be
separated from the box; when use inflammable materials in light box, the inside of
Light box must be fireproofing.
⑼ Drilling, painting, glue water is not allowed on the ground of the hall. Contractor should
be responsible for the ground protection, if slipcover is needed, you can use
double-sided adhesive tape.
⑽ All the facilities in the exhibition hall cannot be damaged or change using nature and
location. If the Hall, other booth and decoration damages caused by the contractor
(including self-built by exhibitors), shall be promptly settled through negotiation, and
give the appropriate compensation.
⑾ Booth design should take account of the structural safety and reasonable,it need to
use flame retardant or flame-retardant material when construction, and booth structure
must be solid and reliable. Construction of the booth shall not exceed the lease area,
and height shall not exceed the scope of the provisions.
⑿ A fully enclosed roof booth is strictly prohibited, booth roof shall not obstruct fire-fighting
facilities at the top of the Hall. In order to ensure the booth fire safety, it must ensure
that at least 50% of the booth roof area is an open area.

⒀ Raw space must build backboard by contractor or exhibitor. Using panels of the near
stand as own backboard or decoration is not allowed. Backboard that exposed in the
public part should be covered by pure color material and without advertisement or
company name.
⒁ If organizer temporarily adjust booths, backboard and sideboard exposed in the public
of the adjacent stands, the adjacent booth contractor should actively cooperate with,
and the backboard and sideboard exposed in the public should be covered with pure
color materials.
⒂ During the booth construction, use inflammable and explosive materials (such as:
alcohol, thinner, rubber solutions etc.), and painting is forbidden.
⒃ During the construction, the contractor should clean the construction rubbish and other
kinds of abandoned goods, construct materials should be stacked neatly, strictly
prohibit the occupation of fire exits.
⒄ The electric saws, planer and other processing operation tools shall not be used within
exhibition hall.
⒅ 2 floors raw space
① The 2nd floor can only be used as rest or business negotiation.
② The height of security fence in the 2nd floor shall not be less than 1.25mH.
③ Exhibitor and contractor must fully take responsible for the overall structure of the
booth security.
④ The booth with 2 floors must have annual inspection Qualified fire extinguishers.
2.2 Electricity Safety
① During the exhibition, exhibitors who need to install the construction, presentation
equipment power using, increase showcase, exhibition lighting and imaging
Equipment, light box using, regardless of the size of power have to apply (Can be
handled at Official Contractor Service), and electronic box connection must be handled
by official contractor assigned electrician.
② The installation, usage and the circuit design of the electrical products in the raw
spaces should be in line with the National technical regulations on fire safety, and
should use these flame-retardant wire and covered with metal tube or flame-retardant
tube passed through the inspection by fire department of police. Twisted wire,
Aluminum Core wire and electrical tape are forbidden.
③ Billboard, down lights, spotlights, quartz lamp, and light box must have asbestos pad
and vent. Daylight rectifier should use the fire-safe products.
④ Lamps inside the booth shall not be directly faced towards the covered cloth, so as not
to cause a fire.
3. Other Rules of Raw Space

① Two adjacent exhibitors should consult with each other on the handling job of panel
back, the material and color of panel back shall be determined by the agreement of the
adjacent exhibitors.
② All exhibitors can just use own panel, cannot use the panel of the adjacent booth. If the
panel exceeds or affects other exhibitors, the organizer has the right to require
replacement or to be renovated.
4. Construction Declaration
4.1 Scope of application
(1) Exhibitors that rented the raw space.
(2) Exhibitors who rented the standard booth, but want to do special decoration on the
standard booth.
(3) The exhibition booth contractors who constructs the raw space at this event
(including the exhibitors who construct their booth by themselves).
4.2、Construction Declaration Materials
(1)Single floor raw space (below 4.5mH, not including 4.5mH)
Exhibitors who apply for raw space must send these materials to Official Contractor before
March 10, 2014
① Raw Space Construction Proxy provided by exhibitor
② Raw Space Construction Construct Application Form provided by the contractor
③ License of the contractor with official seal.
④ three-dimensional effect diagram
⑤ Booth Structure picture
⑥ Circuit diagram(must clearly marked the Specific Size, Decoration materials and
power load)
⑦ Safety Commitment of the Erection Contractor with the official seal and signature of
the legal person.
⑧ Name, ID number of the on-site construction workers
All papers should be marked size of beam, main axis and specifications and size of all
structural material.
(2)Single floor booth over 4.5mH (include 4.5m) and Multi-storey raw space
All indoor and outdoor two floors booths, outdoor open-air booths , indoor one-floor-only
booths higher than 4.5mH or booths with top building area over 50% of booth area, its
drawings all must be audited and confirmed with a seal by first grade registered structural
engineer of PRC.
Booth build design drawings may referred to SNIEC designated professional drawings
audited company HAH Consulting & Exhibition Co., Ltd Shanghai for audit, drawings
audited company will collect drawings audit fee in accordance with the audit standard: If

exhibitor or booth constructor can itself hire first grade registered structural engineer of
PRC to audit the drawings, it should submit drawings originals with the confirmation of
registered structural engineer’s auditing and seal, and copy of qualification certification of
this engineer to drawings audited company, drawings audited company will collect
drawings double-check fee in accordance with double-check standard. And the following
materials should be submitted to drawings audited company before March 10, 2014 (each
in quadruplicate)
① Booth overall effect diagram (front and side)
② Booth floor plan
③ Main component connection nodal graph
④ Booth ground plan (2 floors booth)
⑤ Booth upper layer plan (2 floors booth)
⑥ Structure drawing, Section plan, front drawing, side drawing
Detailed List of the materials of the booth construction, related data, and structure drawing
of the booth is needed.
4.3 Declaration Procedure
(1) Read this manual carefully and signs Safety Commitment of the Erection Contractor
(See P23)
(2)Fill in the Construction Application for Raw Space (See P26), and post it with other
required materials to Official Contractor before March 10, 2014. Single floor booth over
4.5mH (include 4.5m) and multi-storey booth can directly send to HAH Consulting &
Exhibition Co., Ltd Shanghai designated by SNIEC for audit.
(3) The entering procedures includes:
① to pay the booth rejectamenta removal deposit to the Official Contractor, below 54
(including 54) square meters is 5,000 Yuan, above 54 square meters is 8,000, the
deposit will fully return under the condition of no damages to the hall after the
exhibition’s closure with the signature and seal of cleaner and security guard of
Gate 1 of each hall and confirm the booth has been cleaned carefully.
② to pay the raw space manage fee to the Official Contractor, 30 Yuan for each
square meter.
Helpful Tips:

Contractors should make reasonable arrangements to construction progress, timely
complete the booth construction. If need overtime working, please apply for overtime
procedure at customer service center of Shanghai New International Expo Center
(entrance of East Hall or South Hall) on the same day before 3:00pm. If apply overtime
procedure after 3:00pm, the Hall will get surcharge. Please reasonably arrange the time to
avoid unnecessary cost.

Safety Commitment of the Erection Contractor
We, the erection contractor (hereinafter referred to as “the Contractor”), are committed to
strictly obeying the following rules during exhibition hall improvements, booth erection,
and dismantling operations within the confines of the Shanghai New International Expo
Centre Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “SNIEC”), so as to ensure the common
facilities within the SNIEC are well protected, the construction work is carried out in a safe
manner, and the SNIEC is kept quiet, safe, and clean.
1. The Contractor shall strictly abide by the laws, rules and regulations on work safety, fire
safety, and labor protection promulgated by the state and Shanghai municipal
governments and relevant administrative departments.
2. The Contractor shall take charge to educate its on-site workers on work safety, ensuring
that the workers carry all relevant work permits, and ensuring that all its workers work with
their helmets on and, when working at heights above 2 meters, wear safety harnesses.
The Contractor shall urge its transport staff to work according to all relevant safety
regulations, and take protective measures to ensure work safety and fire safety according
to regulations. The Contractor shall designate a person, who shall be readily recognizable
at the site, to take charge of on-site day-to-day safety supervision.
3. The workers of the Contractor shall closely follow the rules on the operation and use of
the facilities and equipment in and out of the exhibition hall, and facilitate the checking and
supervision of the SNIEC’s staff on the improvement work.
4. During work execution, the Contractor shall strictly follow the SNIEC’s rules on work
safety and fire safety; and shall bear all responsibilities and consequences in result of the
failure the stipulated rules.
5. For work at height, the worker shall be a holder of a work-at-height permit or other
relevant qualifications, and take all appropriate safety measures. Should there be any
accident; the Contractor shall bear all responsibilities, liabilities and consequences.
6. During work execution, the Contractor shall keep the constructions, structures, facilities,
equipment, and fittings in the exhibition hall clean and well protected. Should there be any
damage or pollution; compensation shall be made according to the SNIEC’s“Damage
Price List of Constructions and Structures” and “Damage Price List of Facilities,
Equipment, and Fittings”.
7. Fire and explosion prevention rules shall be strictly observed. Smoking is prohibited in
the exhibition hall. No explosives and inflammables (such as paint, banana oil, dimethyl
benzene, etc) may be taken into the exhibition hall. No fire, electric furnace and welding
equipment may be used within the exhibition hall.
8. Materials must not be stored at the fire exits. All fire exits, safety passages, and
common walkways must be kept free of any obstructions.
9. During work execution, no action shall be carried out that may affect the structures and

safety of the building.
10. Workers must not undertake other transport tasks that are irrelevant to the designated
exhibition, or solicit work from other concurring exhibitions.
11. The Contractor must not subcontract the work of exhibition booth erection or
dismantling to individual persons, other private entities or entities that do not carry legal
person status and relevant certifications.
12. The Contractor must not use the materials and facilities for improvement that have
been expressly banned by national laws and regulations.
Should there be any consequences due to the Contractor’s failure to follow the
aforementioned rules, the Contractor will be liable for punishment from the SNIEC, the
organizers of the exhibition, and the security staff of the exhibition hall, and bear all
possible resulting economic and legal liabilities.

1. Types of Credentials
1.1 Exhibitor passes: This is exhibitor staff dedicated Pass and is valid during the booth
construction, exhibition and move-out periods.
Application: Exhibitors fill in the Exhibitor Credential Application Form (see P30), apply
from the organizer and get it when register at service counter.
1.2 Raw Space contractor’s passes: According to SNIEC's requirement about
construction credentials all should take real-name system and photo, SNIEC will be
responsible for registration, audit, taking photo, producing and managing for the passes
that used in the process of booth construction and booth dismantling. For specified
handling procedures, please login in SNIEC official website, and click Contractors Passes
Register.

2. Goods in and out Release Passes
2.1 Release scrip of goods’ entering the hall
Exhibits transport vehicles must apply for “Transport Vehicles Pass” during the
exhibition, and if bring temporary exhibition tools into the hall, it needs to apply
“Exhibits Entering Release Pass” and then enter with it.
2.2 Release scrip of goods’ out of the hall
The in and out pass is a permit for all the goods and exhibits to be out of hall during
the whole exhibition time (including the booth decoration, show time, and move-out).
The security guard of the hall will grant release after checking the goods with the in
and out release pass. If the items written on the pass are not match with the exact
goods, the security guard has the right not to grant release.
2.3 Goods in and out of the hall handling ways
Exhibitors to apply this at organizer’s service counter with exhibitor permits and valid
credentials.
2.4 Notes:
During the period of arranging exhibits and show time, in order to keep the safety of
the exhibits the organizer won’t give the release of the exhibits in the hall. If there are
some special reasons, exhibitor can apply at organizer’s service counter, the
organizer will handle according to the situation. It will not be accepted 1 hour before
hall closed.
On the last day of the exhibition (April 10), the organizer will issue Exhibits Release
Pass to exhibitors, the exhibitors can move all the items with this pass.

3. Exhibit Transportation
3.1 Exhibit Transportation by yourself
Drive the van to venue from Huamu Road, and park it at P7 parking lot of Shanghai New
International Expo Center (please refer to the sketch map on this page). The exhibitors
firstly go to East Hall (No.3 Entrance Hall) of the Shanghai New International Expo Center
to register and get the exhibitor pass and the release scrip of goods’ entering the hall, and
then with these passes to apply Transport vehicles’ Pass Card at the transport vehicles
Accreditation office(Location see P11).
According to the regulations of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, every car
needs to pay 50Yuan for commission charge and 300Yuan for security money when apply
the Transport vehicles’ Pass Card. If the vehicles unload and load the cargo completely on
time, the exhibitor can get back security money with Transport vehicles’ Pass Card and
receipt, if not, exhibitor can not get the money back. If the Transport vehicles’ Pass has
any damage or loss, it needs to compensate 50Yuan per piece. The time for transport
vehicle to unload and load cargoes is 1.5 hours; if overtime, it needs to pay management
fee 100Yuan for each half hour, and by parity of reasoning. If timeout is less than half an
hour, we also take it as half an hour.
Notes:
①As we account the time as the vehicle comes into the hall, so exhibitors do please
follow the conductor of Official Forwarder to avoid the unnecessary cost.
②Go to Official Forwarder service counter, wait for measuring the dimension of the
cargoes and pay the fee.
③Follow the command and arrangement of Official Forwarder, the exhibitors enter
the hall in line by the payment invoices.

Chapter Five Relevant Rules & Regulations
1. Basic Rules
⑴ Exhibitors must observe the laws of People’s Republic of China, and policies and
regulations of public security, customs, commodity inspection and other relevant
authorities, and must obey relevant rules and regulations of the Exhibition Office and
Exhibition Hall (including all the contents of this Manual).
⑵ This exhibition is an international professional exhibition, only for display,
communication and negotiations. Retailing is not permitted. Products not related to the
scope of exhibits are not allowed to display. If any of the above-mentioned violations
occurs, the Organizer has the right to confiscate the exhibits and shall not refund the
booth fee.
⑶ Transfer and splicing of booths are not allowed during the show time. Once found, the
Exhibition Office has the right to take back the booths and penalize the booth applicant.
All responsibilities arising from such transfer or splicing of booths shall be borne by the
applicant of the booths.
⑷ Except those media personnel who are permitted by the Exhibition Office, photography
and video-recording of booths and exhibits must obtain the prior permission from
relevant exhibitors. The media personnel permitted by the Exhibition Office shall wear
the journalist permits issued by the Exhibition Office.
⑸ Those who need 24-hour power supply for their electrical appliances must make
application to the Official Contractor in advance. Those who need overtime supply of
power, water, compressed air and telephone service must make application to the
Official Contractor in advance.
⑹ Empty Box Management
Exhibitors must arrange the storage of package, box and case by themselves. And these
materials can not be stored in the exhibition hall. Cleanup crew has the right to carry away
any boxes and cases in the hall.
⑺ Sound Volume & Performance Management
① Sound Volume Management
The sound volume emitted by the exhibitor beside the booth and at the center of the
passage should not exceed 70 decibels. Exhibitors should control sound volume within
the booth consciously. If the specified standard is exceeded, the organizer will give a
warning. If violation continues after a warning, the organizer has the right to cut off the
power.
② Performance Management
Exhibitors who will give performance at their booths should submit a written application
to the Exhibition Office before March 10, indicating performance time, contents, and
number of persons. Then the Organizer will submit such applications together to
Shanghai Public Security Bureau and fire department. If such an application is overdue,
the organizer will no longer submit it for exhibitor. The exhibitor will have to submit the
application himself. Only after being approved, the exhibitor can give performance. If
performance is given without approval, the organizer will be entitled to cut off the power

supply to this booth.
⑻ Meals and Flower Management
In order to ensure the health of work personnel and sanitation of the exhibition hall, it is
stipulated by the owner of the exhibition hall that no outside snacks and flowers and
grass can be brought into the exhibition hall. In special cases, please take all the
documents (such as business license, food sanitary license, vending approval
certificate, etc.) to the on-site service counter of SNIEC for consultation.
⑼ Demonstration & Operation Management
9.1 All the machines used for operation demonstration must be provided with safety
devices and operation marks. Only when the power supply for the machines is cut off
can these safety devices be removed.
9.2 A distance of relative safety must be kept between the operation machine and visitors,
and it is advised to use safety protection devices.
9.3 Demonstration of machine and equipment can only be performed in the rented booth
area. Operation and supervision must be conducted by competent personnel during the
demonstration. If no adequate fire prevention measures have been adopted, no engine,
motor or power drive machine can be used.
2. Exhibits, publicity materials
2.1 Exhibits Management Rules
① All exhibits (including products laid out in the booths, pictures posted and materials
distributed, the same applied to the below) must possess lawful intellectual property rights.
All the consequences arising from violation of others’ intellectual property rights shall be
borne by exhibitors.
② If a stand laid out in the exhibition hall without applying for a booth, or exhibits that
showed have nothing to do with this exhibition will be confiscated by the Exhibition Office.
③ Exhibits must not be sold at the exhibition site. Once found, the Exhibition Office shall
be entitled to take back the booth without refunding the participation fees and registration
fees.
④ No exhibits shall be carried away during the exhibition. For exhibits move-out, exhibitor
needs to get Exit Permit issued by Service Counter of Exhibition Office.
⑤ Quality or legal responsibilities arising from exhibits and display contents shall all be
borne by the exhibitor of the booth.
2.2 Publicity materials Management Rules
① As this exhibition is an international expo, in order to bring convenience to overseas
visitors, all the publicity articles of exhibitors must be written in both Chinese and English.
② No such words as “Republic of China” is allowed to appear in any publicity matter of
exhibitors from Taiwan region.
③ Exhibitors can only distribute promotional materials, souvenirs, etc within the booth
area. Exhibitors shall not distribute any materials and propaganda that have nothing to do
with our exhibition for other company at any area of the hall. The security has the right to
confiscate such inappropriate goods and materials.

3. Sanitation
3.1 The organizer will take charge of the sanitation of the standard booth and public area
during the booth decoration and booth dismantling. The sanitation of the raw space is at
exhibitor’s own risk.
3.2 The exhibitor who applied the raw space must remove display rack and decoration
materials when move-out the hall. The organizer will get the sanitation security money
form the raw space contractor; this money will be returned to contractor by the signature
of the cleaner and the security when dismantling booth.
4. Security
4.1 The organizer will try best to do a good job in security work to ensure the security and
order of exhibition hall. This security works includes the security guards, exhibition hall
inspections, closed cleared, fire safety management, parking management and night-time
inspection of the periphery of the exhibition hall.
4.2 The main locations of the hall are equipped with cameras. Once the exhibits lost,
exhibitor should call the police immediately. The venue security department will show
surveillance video to the person who called the police based on 110's written materials.
4.3 The security measures provided by the organizer and venues are aimed at deterrence
and prevention of criminal activities that may occur, and this is not foolproof method, all
exhibitors should also raise awareness of prevention. Organizer has no responsibility of
any personal injury, goods loss and damage caused by a third party. We suggest all
exhibitors to insure exhibits in advance for the entire period of transportation, move-in, the
opening and closing and move out (including theft, loss, damage and fire insurance).
5. Electricity
①The organizer will provide the overall lighting in the hall.
②All power connections must be handled by Official Contractor designated by the
organizer.
③The organizer has the right to cut off all power which is deemed to have security risks
and remove any electricity installations that are threaten to public safety.
6. Booth dismantling & Exhibits move-out
① Move-out time: The uniform move-out time is 2:00pm~7:00pm, April 10, 2014
② Dismantling in advance is not allowed. In order to ensure safety and maintain the
uniform image of the exhibition and display the quality of enterprises and employees,
this exhibition, in accordance with international practice, does not allow any booth
dismantling in advance. Exhibitors shall not request for booth dismantling in advance
for any reason.
③ Exit Permit: In order to raise the efficiency of move-out, exhibitors may assign staff to
the Service Counter for Exit Permit after 1:00pm, April 10. Exhibitor can move out by
holding the Exit Permit after 2:00pm.
④ Booth Cleaning: Exhibitors must clear out building garbage, tapes and marking
residues from booths. Otherwise, garbage disposal deposit will not be refunded. If any
damage resulted from construction, the repair expenses shall be borne by the
exhibitor.
⑤ During the booth dismantling, precious belongings must be well kept to prevent from
theft.
