The difference between shopping anonymously and having a Leedstone.com account is that nothing is retained from one purchase to the next. Each time an anonymous shopper makes a purchase, he/she starts from the beginning and will have to re-­‐enter: •

There are many options and features within the purchasing process: 1. Select item: Search/find each product, entering the quantities, and pressing “Add to Cart” for each. a. Volume discounts/case pricing is shown below the regular prices on the product pages; the total will update automatically as you enter case quantities in your order. b. ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ pricing still requires calling in as it does today. a 2. Cart Icon (Figure 7a): Hover over (or click on) the cart icon in upper right corner of your screen. a. View Cart—to see the full order, change quantities, enter promotional codes and see which items need prescription forms (Figure 7b). i. Coupon (promotional) Codes (Pg 7) b c ii. Prescriptions (buyers need to be logged in) (Pg 8). b. When ready to place the order: i. Use the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button (Figure 7c). Figure 7 ii. If not logged in, the ‘Checkout’ button offers you the option of signing in at that time, or checking out as a guest. 3. Billing Address: If you’re an account owner, you’ll already have your billing address filled in for you, and you can simply hit ‘Continue’; anonymous shoppers will need to type in their name, address, phone and county information. a. County information is required for tax purposes; varying counties are taxed at different rates. b. A default is set on this page for the Shipping Address to be the same as the Billing Address; if preferred, you can select ‘Ship to different address’ here. 4. Shipping Address: If you select ‘Ship to different address,’ a Shipping Address page will appear next. Here, you can select from all the addresses you have entered as an account owner or enter new address and fill in the information (as anonymous shoppers will do). 5. Shipping Method: On this page, you can see your shipment options and the cost of each, and will be able to select their preference (Pg 8; Figure 11). Credit Card: Although My Credit Cards is on your dashboard list, for your security, credit card information will not be saved from transaction to transaction. You will be able to enter your preferred method of payment each time you shop. 7. Order Review: This is the final review of your order and total cost, complete with tax, shipping and handling and any other fees that may have been added (hazardous, excessive weight, etc.). 8. Place Order: Completes the order. You will see a ‘Thank you for your purchase’ page (Figure 8), letting you know the order has gone through. It will also have your order number for your purchase. From here, you can print your order, continue shopping or log Figure 8 out/close your browser. Other Important Purchasing Information – Coupons and Promo Codes Have a Coupon Code? Coupon or promotional codes are created for many of our discount promotions (catalogs, mini-­‐magazines, print ads, postcards, etc.). You may use these codes when purchasing from Leedstone.com just as you do when calling in an order. For Example: When new account owners receive their confirmation email after opening an online account, they will get a promo code for $10 off their first online order over $10. (This promo code is only be valid on an online order. Limit 1 per account.) •
Promo codes are entered in the first ‘Checkout’ page in the bottom right (Figure 9a) Please note: Coupon or promo codes are not case sensitive. Rx shoppers must be logged in as a registered customer From product detail page, reorder history and Leedstone List pages: o You can add the needed Rx items to cart o At the Cart level, you are required to complete an Rx form for each prescription product in the cart  The ‘Checkout’ button will remain grayed out until all required forms are completed  There will be a red message on each product line where a form is yet to be completed The good news is, with Leedstone.com account, it’s a very fast process when you have your My Veterinarians page completed. There are only a couple clicks each time you complete a prescriptions form: 1. Select a Vet (Figure 10) If you have your veterinarians entered in the My Veterinarians area, simply select the appropriate one, and it will auto-­‐populate to the form If you don’t have your vets saved, you’ll need to manually complete the form each time, with: Vet Name, Clinic Name, Phone Number, Fax Number 2. Allow generics? Figure 10 Yes or No Please note: Although you are submitting these forms online, they are still being processed through our pharmacy as they are today. For more information on prescription forms and pharmacy policies, please see the Rx Q&A sheet “Answering Your Most Common Prescription (Rx) Questions” included in your packet. Ship as Ready Fee (Figure 11) For orders with an Rx product, the order could be delayed because the prescription is yet to be submitted, we give you an option (during the checkout process): •

Have your order held until all items are available to ship as one complete shipment (no additional fee) Have your products shipped as they are available for one additional fee of $7.95 This is for Rx items only. If non-­‐prescription items in your order are out of stock, we will still call you to let you know. From the My Account area: o Go to My Leedstone Lists o Click Create List and enter the name Or, from any product page, click on “Add to List” button o Select Create New List and enter the name o If you already have lists created, you can choose the list you want to add the product to, from the drop-­‐down menu *Each product resides in Leedstone Lists at a quantity of ‘0’ to avoid accidental ordering. You can go through the list, adding your quantities (using either ‘Tab’, ‘Arrow’ or ‘Enter’ to get to the next product). When you add your order to the cart, the list resets back to ‘0’. And, when you ‘View History’ the quantities you ordered will be there. Note: If accounts are linked, billing default will be overwritten with the main account it is linked to. Ship-­‐to addresses are not shared. They each serve specific functions: •

You can access your previous order history and account information (special pricing, payment options, tax exempt status, etc.) on our new site! If we haven’t already contacted you with your new account information and auto-­‐generated password, give us a call and we’ll set it up for you. From there, you can edit your password and add information, as you prefer! By creating an account and/or linking your history, you can: •

Tying/Linking Accounts Together—If you have more than one online account, you can connect them together on Leedstone.com. Tying accounts together offer you: •

Important Information about Linked Accounts—All linked account owners will see ‘all’ orders placed between accounts (except pre-­‐linkage web orders) •

All account owners of linked accounts can change billing information; each has those administrative rights to the account (and each person will be able to see and use this information) In-­‐store pickup, route delivery, milk check deduct and in-­‐house charge accounts remain at the accounting level. If these should be set up for online use, let us know and we will verify, then set them up for you If, at any point, you want to revert an associated account, we can do that for you.
