2. Admin Metadata:
 It contains all the features regarding the subject, its status, type of questions (1mark, 2marks and
so on) that would allow the Admin to select the proper action.

a. The option marked with “a” describes the particular branch the Admin has login.
b. The option marked as “b” describes the subject for that particular branch.
c. The option marked as “c” describes the status of the subject which are:
 All, Unverified, Admin Soft Delete, Admin Minor Error, Admin Valid for Test Series only, Admin
Extra filter and Admin Valid that shown below.
d. The option marked as “d” describes the type of question on which Admin can take action on
 which are:
One mark, two marked, common and linked questions.
e. The option marked as “e” describes.
f. The option marked as “f” generates the data that are being available for the particular action selected
by the Admin.

Description of Status:







All: This status displays all types of questions that are present for particular branch.
Unverified: This status displays all the unverified questions present for the particular branch.
Admin Soft Delete: This status displays the deleted questions by the Admin that are stored in Database
but is not visible for any action to the Admin.
Admin Minor Error: This status displays the questions that may be correct but rejected by the Admin
such that it contains minor errors that can be corrected by the Admin.
Admin Valid for Test Series Only: This status contains the questions that are valid for the Test series.
Admin Extra Filter: This status contains the questions kept for extra filter that the Admin can correct and
perform action on.
Admin Valid: This status contains all the valid questions that would be visible to the student for Student’s
Practice and Student’s Test.

3. Edit Test Rules:
For this special feature by Eexamportal, the Admin can edit the pattern of the Test Series.
For the detailed description please see the following image:

Description for the above image:
subject.random.time = it helps to select the time for the Test e.g. 30min or 60min(only in minutes not
hours).
subject.random.oneMark.questions = it helps to select the total number of one mark questions for test
e.g. if the Admin selects 10, then 10 questions will be available for test to the student.
subject.random.twoMark.questions = it helps to select the total number of two mark questions for test
e.g. if the Admin selects 6, then 6 questions will be available for test to the student.
subject.random.common.questions = it helps to select the total number of common questions for test
e.g. if the Admin selects 1, then 1 question will be available for test to the student.
subject.random.linked.questions = it helps to select the total number of linked questions for test e.g. if
the Admin selects 1, then 1 question will be available for test to the student.

b. Description for the above image:
This allows to edit the pattern of full length test (long tests) for the students.













fulllength.time = it helps to select the time for the Full length Test, e.g. 180min (only in minutes not
hours).
fulllength.oneMark.start = it helps to select the starting question for one mark, e.g. if the Admin
selects 1 then One mark question would start from first question.
fulllength.oneMark.end = it helps to select the ending question for one mark, e.g. if the Admin selects
25 then one mark question would end at 25th question.
fulllength.twoMark.start = it helps to select the starting question for two mark, e.g. if the Admin
selects 26 then two marks question would start from 26th question.
fulllength.twoMark.end = it helps to select the ending question for two marks, e.g. if the Admin selects
47 then two marks question would end at 27th question.
fulllength.common.start = similar to the above details.
fulllength.common.end = similar to the above details.
fulllength.linked.start = similar to the above details.
fulllength.linked.end = similar to the above details.
fulllength.general.oneMark.start = similar to the above details.
fulllength.general.oneMark.end = similar to the above details.
fulllength.general.twoMark.start = similar to the above details.

After editing the rules for the test series the Admin have to save the changes or settings to make the rules
saved and visible to the Students.

4. Edit Notice Board:
Write your message on this space provided.
Click on Save button and the
message will be visible on the
notice board.



This is a common platform through which the Admin can convey their messages to the students
easily.
The Admin just have to write the information to be displayed and click on the save option and the
contents will be visible to the Students.

5. Send Mail:
 This is a feature on Eexamportal that would allow the Admin to send mass mails to the students on
a single click.
 This feature is similar to the common emailing system but with some extra features.
 Below is the detailed description of the this feature:

a. Branch: This helps to select the branch or the Admin can select all the branches at the same time
which would allow the Admin to send mail to all the students at one click.
b. Account Type: This would help the Admin to select Admin, non Admin or both recipients. The Admin
here refers to the Teachers and Non-Admin means the Students. So, the Admin may select either of
the recipients or both depending upon the need.
c. Subject: The Admin can write the subject of the mail to be sent to the Students.
d. Mail: The Admin can write the content of the mail to be sent to the Students.
e. Attachments: The Admin can also add the attachments to the Students that may constitute pdfs,
images or any other data as well.
To send the mail scroll right the Admin will find an option to Send Mail that would send the mail to the
selected recipients on click.

6. Sync Up Question Data:
 This feature helps to upload the questions to the database.
 With the help of this option the Admin will be able to upload the questions from the local machine.
 The only prerequisite is that the data to be uploaded should be output from the Eexamportal MCQ’s
software.
 With the help of Eexamportal MCQ’s software, the data will be available on the local machine in a
specified format.
 The Admin has to just click on Start Sync Up and browse the path and the questions will be
automatically uploaded in the database.
 Note: The Admin has to re-login on every upload of data.
7. Student Data:
 It contains all the data of the students currently available.
 The Admin can select on Download Excel option that would allow the Admin to download the data
of the student in excel format that can be used by the Admin as per requirement.

8. Tutorial Management:


Tutorial management helps the Admin to upload the data videos for the better understanding to the
students.
Follow the below mentioned steps to upload the videos:
i. Click on the subject to which the Admin wants to add videos.
ii. Now select the subject for which the Admin wants to add video for.
iii. Now select on “Add New Tutorial to List”. See the below screenshot for reference:

iv. Next, the Admin can add Description of the tutorial to be added (actual the details regarding tutorial).
v. The Admin can add “External Website URL” e.g. www.example.com which will be displayed as soon
as the user clicks on the particular link. Whenever the user selects this option the concerned URL has
to be written on the option just below External Website URL i.e. “Content Absolute URL”.
vi. On this the Admin can add “Internal File” e.g. any .pdf or word file which will be opened as soon as
the user clicks on the link. Whenever the Admin selects this option then the Admin has to choose the
file to be uploaded through the option “File for Tutorial” and the concerned file can be browsed.

vii. The last option is to upload the tutorial. Just click on Update and the tutorial will be uploaded.
viii. The Admin can also Delete the selected tutorial just by selecting Delete option.

9. Test Series Management:
 Test Series Management is an option through which the Admin can add a test series such that the
start date and time, end date and time, and similar features can be prepared for the Students.
 This feature is strictly the Admin defined and the User will only be able to avail the options provided
by the Admin.
 The Admin can select the range of questions that they wish to select which may also vary based on
the difficulty level.

The procedure to add Test Series is explained in detail:
a. Test Series Name: The Admin can give title to the Test Series e.g. Test1, etc.
b. Total Time: The Admin can give total time for the test such as 180mins. (Note: the total time can
only be in minutes).
c. Start Date Time: The Admin can select the start date and time on which the Test will be visible to
the Students.
d. End Date Time: The Admin can select the end date and time after which the Test will be not be
visible to the Students any further
e. Test can be reviewed on: The Admin can select the date and time on which the Student can review
the Test which will provide the correct and incorrect answer for the student and its explanation (if
any) as per the data provided by the Admin.
f. Password: It is an optional choice. If the Admin enters any password then the same password will
also has to be entered by the Student so as to start the Test Series.

a. Enable Shuffling: This option shuffles the options of the questions, such that the options already
available will be randomly shuffled.
b. Keep Negative Marking: This option enables the negative marking for that particular Test Series. If this
option is disabled then the result calculation will be without negative marks.
c. Division: It selects the division for which the exam has to be conducted.
d. Active: This will make the test active and visible on the prescribed date by the Admin.

Detailed steps to select the questions from the database:

a. Subject: This feature helps to select the questions from each topic individually for particular branch.
b. Status: This feature helps to select the questions from the status “Admin Valid for Test Series Only” or
“Admin Valid”. If the Admin has already selected questions for test series then the same can be directly
selected and modified accordingly.
c. Question Type: This will help to select the questions from One Mark, Two Mark, Linked Question or
Common Data questions.
d. Question Options: This will help to select questions such as “Visible options” or “Hidden Options”. The
“Visible Option” will show only the questions whose options are available whereas “Hidden Options”
will show the questions whose options are not available in the database as specified by the Admin in
the database.
e. The Last option is Get Questions. In this option as per the choice selected by the Admin the questions
will be displayed and depending upon the choice the Admin can select the questions to be uploaded for
the Test Series.
