EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES
Thank you for participating in the 3rd Annual Home Show. Exhibitor Guidelines and Show logistics are as
follows; please review it thoroughly as it will be of value to even seasoned exhibitors.
SHOW DATES/TIMES:
Friday, February 7th SHOW OPENS 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday, February 8th 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday, February 9th 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
1. SHOW SET-UP DATES AND TIMES:
THE SHOW REGISTRATION TABLE WILL BE located next to the overhead door. YOU MUST SIGN IN
PRIOR TO SETTING UP. All exhibit space must be paid in full prior to the show opening.
Exhibitors may set up their booth:
Wednesday, February 5th 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday, February 6th 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Friday, February 7th 8 a.m. - 12 noon SHARP
2. BOOTH LOCATION: Your booth has already been assigned and will be marked with your company
name so you can identify it. Design your booth to be creative and eye-catching but please consider and ensure
your exhibit does not interfere with those of adjacent booths. Show management reserves the right to modify
the floor plan and/or reassign booths at anytime.
3. DECORATOR: Your booth will be equipped with gold and white pipe and drape. If you require additional furnishings such as tables or chairs it is your responsibility to complete the attached equipment order
form provided in this document by the decorator, Century Decorations. ALL ORDERS MUST BE RECEVIED
BY January 31st 2014. This order form was also emailed to you on Friday, January 10th. It is not the responsibility of the promoter to order additional furnishings for you the exhibitor.
4. ELECTRIC: Electric is included with your booth. Anyone using halogen lights should contact the promoters, halogen lights risk a chance of blowing a fuse and you may be asked to disconnect. It is your responsibility to provide the electrical cord/power strip with a minimum of 20-30 feet long.
5. EXHIBITOR BADGES: Each exhibitor will receive two exhibitor badges that will allow you free entrance to the show. Each additional booth will also receive two badges. You will receive your badges at registration. No exhibitor is allowed to hand out their exhibitor badges to non-working personnel. You may
purchase advance discount tickets, see section 12.
6. PARKING: A parking map is provided in this manual. We strongly urge all exhibitors to follow the
map guidelines. Parking is available in the parking garage and is free of charge. The Events Center is located
adjacent to the parking garage on the second level.
7. SECURITY: Turning Stone Resort Casino Security will be present throughout the entire show. The
Events Center will be locked each night with security patrolling periodically. It is still recommended that all
valuables be removed from your exhibit. It is not the responsibility of the promoters if items are lost or stolen.
All exhibitors must exit the Events Center before it is locked at the end of each night.
8. LODGING & DINING: We have arranged some discounted accommodations rates for you. We urge
you to make your reservations early. They are as follows:
Turning Stone Casino Resort Hotel and Tower. The rates are below but you may want to look on the Turning Stone Web site since they often run packages for room rates. A block of rooms have been put aside for the
show and they are under Booking Codes: Hotel & Tower is under TMHOME, Inn is under ITMHOME.

Turning Stone INN is located 1 mile down the road from the Casino and provides shuttle service to their
guests.

We have also made arrangements at the Hotel at Vernon Downs located at 4229 Stuhlman Road Route 31 in
Vernon. www.vernondowns.com This also a gaming facility. They have agreed to give us a rate of $69.00
plus tax per night, when calling to reserve your room tell them it's under the Home Show at the Turning Stone
Casino. Call 315-829-3400 to reserve your room.
The newly built Fairfield Inn directly across the street from the Casino. All reservations will be booked and
guaranteed individually. Please call the Marriott’s toll free 800# to book reservations at 1-800-228-2800.
No special rates were given, typically the rate is $170.00 per night. Reservations may also be made on line at
www.marriott.com/syrvr.
Once again we urge you to call early. The rooms will sell out or they will release the block of rooms when it
gets closer to the show.
There is also a Super 8 in Oneida, NY is about 5-10 minutes down the road, we did not secure a rate with
them. However, I know they honor Triple A or they will honor a senior citizen discount of 10%. Phone number is 315-363-5168.

TURNING STONE RESORT CASINO DINING: With 21 distinct dining venues, every taste and budget can
be accommodated. From fine dining at TS Steakhouse in the Tower, to superb Italian, finest choice beef and
seafood, gourmet Asian cuisine, or even just a quick snack, you are guaranteed to find something to satisfy
your appetite. Choose from six casual & convenient eateries tucked away in The Corner Market. Here, you
can find everything from good old southern fried chicken to piping hot pizza, overstuffed sandwiches & juicy
burgers. The Corner Market even offers light fare with international flair, like Asian soups & vegetable dishes
& everyone's favorite, ice cream. This past year Exit 33 opened up four distinct restaurants and clubs; The
Atrium Bar; The Gig; The Tin Rooster; and The Turquois Tiger.
9. SHIPPING & STORAGE: If you should need items shipped to the Turning Stone Resort Casino
ahead of time staging prices are as follows: Pallets $70.00 each. Boxes and carton 26lbs – 70 lbs $20.00
each. Less then 26 lbs $10.00 each. Please contact the promoter to make arrangements for your shipment

10. INTERNET: Wifi available upon request.
11. INSURANCE: Exhibitors are required to provide insurance certificates two week prior to the event.
Turning Stone Resort & Casino requires exhibitors to provide evidence of insurance in the form of a certificate
of insurance at least 14 days prior to the show. The standard insurance limits requested by Turning Stone are
(1) comprehensive general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury and property damage; (2) umbrella insurance in the amount of $1,000,000; (3) vehicle
insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per vehicle, and (4) worker's compensation insurance equal to those
amounts otherwise required by the State of New York.
If an exhibitor does not carry insurance or does not carry the requisite insurance limits, a waiver will be needed
to be obtained from Turning Stone. All waivers are granted on a limited, independent basis. Certificate will

12. ADMISSION PRICES:
Admission prices for this year’s show are $8.00 per Adult, 16 and under are
free. Discount coupons are available on our website for $2.00 off admission. www.homeshowatturningstone.com.

13. ADVERTISING: We have taken great pride in presenting a well organized and extremely publicized
show. The greater Syracuse, Utica, Rome and Mohawk Valley areas will be target with an aggressive advertising and promotional campaign. If your company plans any upcoming advertising or social media strategies it
is advised that you mention your presence at the show. Please share the following flyer. Our commercial is on
our website, we ask you to include it on your website as well.
14. SHOW BREAK DOWN: Sunday, February 9th 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. • Monday, February 10th 8 a.m. – 5
p.m. No exhibitor is allowed to start disassembling their booth until the show ends at 5 p.m. Sunday. All exhibitors are responsible for the removal of all items associated with their exhibit.

16. 2015 SHOW DATES: We have secured the following dates with the Turning Stone for the 2015
show: February February 6, 7 & 8, 2015. If you would like to request a certain booth I would advise you to
let us know as soon as possible.
RULES & REGULATIONS/POLICIES:
To ensure a productive event and compliance with Show Management, we have established a few guidelines for
all exhibitors. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines as they are for your benefit.
1. Display booths should be staffed at all times during the show. Exhibitors are also encouraged to keep
booths attractive and clean throughout the show. Please note the show hours.
2. Exhibitors may not rent or sublet booth space.
3. Audio-visual and sound volumes must not disturb neighboring exhibits or detract from the show.
4. All exhibitors must conform to the size of their space and must not be of such character or arrangement as
to obstruct the view or interfere with the exhibits of others. All exposed parts of display partitions must be finished so they do not present an unsightly appearance when viewed from adjoining booths or aisles.
5. Show management reserves the right to modify the floor plan and/or reassign booths at anytime.
6. Booths must stay assembled and complete until the official announcement of the show closing.
7. The use of nails, staples or tape of any substance will not be permitted on the walls of the building. Signs
will be allowed if they are attached to the backdrops.
8. Sale or sampling of food or beverages as well as certain giveaway items, i.e. helium balloons is prohibited
during the show without the prior approval of the show management.
9. No Exhibitor is allowed to hand out their exhibitor badges to non-working personnel.
10. ALL EXHIBIT SPACE MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE SHOW.

DIRECTIONS
The Turning Stone Resort Casino is located off of Exit 33 of the NYS Thruway in Verona, NY. Take Rt. 365W.
from Thruway off ramp towards Casino for .3 of a mile where you will turn LEFT at the first traffic light. As
you turn left you will enter the casino grounds and you will continue to go straight and make a right at the intersection and follow signs for Turning Stone Events Center. The Event Center will appear on your left and there is
a traffic circle there and we ask you to park in front of the glass atrium where you can unload your display. We
ask you to move your vehicle once your have unloaded to make room for other vendors.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN HAND CART.
As you enter the building the registration desk will be located by the overhead door.
