pride and a fall. The most exacting test of all is to survive prosperity.”

PRAISE CYCLE
*Songs of Preparation
Joel Treick
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy
Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as
we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil; for Thine is the Kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever. Amen

10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)
Love Came Down
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul,
Worship His holy name.
Sing like never before, O my soul.
I'll worship Your holy name.
If my heart is overwhelmed
And I cannot hear Your voice
I'll hold on to what is true, though I cannot see
If the storms of life they come
And the road ahead gets steep
I will lift these hands in faith, I will believe
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning;
It's time to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me,
Let me be singing when the evening comes.
Love came down and rescued me
Love came down and set me free
And I am Yours, I am forever Yours
Mountain high or valley low
I sing out, remind my soul
That I am Yours, I am forever Yours
You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger.
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind.
For all Your goodness, I will keep on singing;
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find.
And on that day when my strength is failing,
The end draws near, and my time has come;
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending:
Ten thousand years and then forevermore!
I'll worship Your holy name, Lord, I'll worship Your holy name.

Call to Worship
I'll remind myself of all that You've done
And the life I have because of Your Son
Joel Treick
Based on Isaiah 55:1-3a
Leader:
Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and all who
have no money, come, buy and eat!
People:
Come, buy wine and milk without money and without
price!
Leader:
Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
When my heart is filled with hope
And every promise comes my way
When I feel Your hands of grace rest upon me
Staying desperate for You God
Staying humbled at Your feet
I will lift these hands and praise, I will believe
(Chorus)

How He Loves Us
He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
I realize just how beautiful You are
And how great Your affections are for me
Oh how he loves us so, oh how He loves us
How he loves us so
Oh how He loves us so, oh how He loves us
How He loves us so
We are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking
So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way
He loves us , oh how He loves us
Oh how he loves us, oh how He loves us
Yeah He loves us, oh how He loves us
Oh how He loves us, oh how He loves
He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy

Prayers of Confession (In Unison)
John Dickinson
1 Peter 5:5b–7 5 “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the
proper time he may exalt you, 7 casting all your anxieties on him, because he
cares for you.
*Song of Response
Humble King
‘Cause You are the God of the broken, the friend of the weak
You wash the feet of the weary, embrace the ones in need
I want to be like You jesus, to have this heart in me
You are the God of the humble, You are the humble King
Oh kneel me down again here at Your feet
Show me how much You love humility
Oh Spirit be the star that leads me to
The humble heart of love I see in You

Sermon
Joel Treick
John Dickinson
God of mercy, you sent Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost.
We confess that we have strayed from you
and turned aside from your way.
We are misled by pride,
for we see ourselves as rich, when we are spiritually poor.
We think we see clearly, when we are spiritually blind.
We think that we are well-dressed and fashionable,
when we are spiritually naked and covered in shame.
Have mercy on us, O God, and forgive our sin!
Give us the riches of your grace!
Heal our eyes that we might see the reality of our sin
and the reality of sin’s devastating consequences.
Clothe us in your righteousness,
and seat us on your great and glorious throne!
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

He’s Always Been Faithful
Morning by morning
I wake up to find
The power and comfort
of God's hand in mine
Season by season
I watch Him amazed
In awe of the mystery
of His perfect ways
All I have need of
His hand will provide
He's always been faithful to me
All I have need of
His hand will provide
He's always been faithful to me

*Song of Celebration
Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not; Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
