We humbly confess our sins and ask for your mercy. We have not loved you with a pure heart, nor have we loved our neighbors as ourselves. We have not done justice, loved kindness, or walked humbly with you, our God. We have not hungered and thirsted for righteousness, and have instead indulged our appetites for sin. Have mercy on us, O God, in your loving-kindness. In your great compassion, cleanse us from our sin. John Dickinson John Dickinson Jeremiah 29:11–14a 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes … *Song of Response How Deep the Father’s Love for Us How deep the Father's love for us How vast beyond all measure That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure How great the pain of searing loss The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory Behold the Man upon a cross My sin upon His shoulders Ashamed I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished His dying breath has brought me life I know that it is finished I will not boast in anything No gifts no power no wisdom But I will boast in Jesus Christ His death and resurrection Why should I gain from His reward I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransom Words and Music by Staurt Townend © 1995 Thankyou Music CCLI#142077 Community Life at Pinewoods New Members Reception Baptism of Lincoln & Gracie Graves, Oakley Camp, Melanie & Adam Cuellar (Children are dismissed for Children’s Church) I won't turn back I know you are near COMMITMENT CYCLE Scripture Reading And I will fear no evil for my God is with me and if my God is with me Whom then shall I fear?
