Mohegan sun
Inspired by Mohegan history, this award-winning design encompasses
layers of deep tribal meaning. Vari-colored ears of Indian corn, each
representing a different season, are pointing north, south, east and
west. The four black dots are Mohegan Sun visitors, who pass through
the casino’s four quadrants to partake in the universal life force as
its center.
Mohegan Grounds
A fun and funky topographic treatment. The animated graphic “petro”
character, surrounded by coffee beans, conveys the casual feel of this
coffee, tea, espresso and cappuccino shop.

Todd English’s Tuscany
Celebrity chef Todd English serves authentic regional Italian fare in this
elegant dining eatery. Capturing the allure of the Tuscany countryside,
a single olive branch rests gently across classic typography. The subtle,
earthy color palette furthers the design’s natural harmony.
Sunrise Coffee Club
This direct mail identity was created to entice the 50 and older patron
to Mohegan Sun to join the Sunrise Coffee Club.

Rain
The “summer rain” atmosphere of this fine continental-cuisine restaurant
features cascading waters, glass puddles and shimmering fabrics. It is
elegantly branded by this sleek cosmopolitan design — with sweeping
hand-drawn flourishes and minimalist typography.
Bamboo Forest
This intimate fine-dining restaurant features low-hung ceilings
with intricately-cut Asian designs. The logo’s stacked squares
frame authentic Asian characters for the name “Bamboo Forest.”

Chief’s deli
Created for a New York-style delicatessen featuring old-fashioned counter
service. The clever use of the letters “C” and “D” forms the plate, while
a feathered headdress completes this charming logo.
Sunburst Buffet
An unending gourmet buffet, where expert chefs prepare fresh, exotic
dishes before your very eyes. The logo’s bountiful sun complements
the interior’s striking environment of intricate vivid mosaics.

Comprehensive Signage System
NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
Sonalysts designed the entire wayfinding package for Mohegan Sun’s 1.1
billion dollar expansion, Project Sunburst. The massive projects included
complete signage systems for the Casino of the Sky — the new Arena,
Hotel and Convention Center — as well as tenant signage packages for
restaurants and retail stores.

Mohegan Sun Property Sign
OUTDOOR SIGNAGE
This award-winning sign greets arriving patrons, day and night. After dark, the logo
lettering and graphic elements are halo-illuminated with white and matching neon
accents. The 3” deep reverse-channel letters, with matte black hammered-finish
face and returns, are pin-mounted 1" off the surface of the rock.

NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
Sprinkled throughout the Hotel lobby, Casino of the Sky and Bus Depot, each
custom award-winning pedestal map houses a backlit 30" x 40" color Duratrans™
of the Mohegan Sun territory map. This unique map was custom illustrated by
one of Sonalysts’ talented illustrators. The map is drawn in 3D with cut-away
“onion-skin” views of all pertinent areas of the casino complex. This unique
drawing style allows guests to very easily orient themselves, no matter where
they are located inside the casino complex.

Directional Wayfinding Pedestal Maps

Sprinkled throughout the Hotel lobby, Casino of the Sky and Bus Depot, each
custom award-winning pedestal map houses a backlit 30" x 40" color Duratrans™
of Sonalysts’ Mohegan Sun territory map. The 3/4" thick plate aluminum with a
flame-cut Mohegan icon is backed with 1/4" thick honey onyx and illuminated
from within. The Mohegan lifetrail border, stencil-cut from an 1/8" thick beveled
aluminum frame, is backed with Kokomo art glass. Glass reveals are appropriately
switched from yellows and oranges in the Hotel lobby to blue and purple in the
Casino of the Sky. Each sign base consists of stone flooring to match its location.

NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
These award-winning 9-foot torchieres, marking the crossing at Taughannick Falls,
help patrons to navigate this unique space. Internally illuminated honey-onyx sign
cabinets, 4' wide by 4.5" deep, serve to backlight the dimensional 2” satin stainless
letters. Kokomo art glass reveals provide additional color and texture. Custom
tapered I-beam supports, of 3/4" thick aluminum, are adorned by a flame-cut
Mohegan icon and lifetrail pattern. Each sign base consists of stone flooring to
match its location.

Mohegan Sun Arena
COMPREHENSIVE SIGNAGE SYSTEM
Both entrances to the Mohegan Sun Arena are graced by a pair of imposing 32'
wide signs. Each consists of 2.5" deep aluminum-channel letters with closed backs
and a blackened steel finish, pin-mounted to a backlit honey-onyx shard. The
interior signs feature Kokomo glass-shard reveal patterns, while the exterior
signs incorporate LCD reader boards for upcoming events. In addition, Sonalysts
developed an award-winning, non-illuminated wayfinding system — along with
basketball-floor graphics that read well through the angled lens perspectives of
TV cameras.

Signage System
Sonalysts developed an award-winning,
non-illuminated wayfinding sign system
consisting of custom brushed aluminum
framing and chemical aged patinas. Text
and ADA icons are dimensional stainless
steel, flush mounted to rust patina backplate. The directional arrows are matte
black cut vinyl that is surface applied to
the face of 0.25” thick honey onyx discs.

Fidelia’s
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
Two 8’ by 4.5’ tall signs — based on the Sonalysts-designed logo for this open and
airy restaurant — attract attention to this second-level, 24-hour deli. The 2’ tall
open-face channel letters, highly readable from a variety of sightlines, are water-jet
cut from Kokomo art glass with matte-black finish returns.

Todd English’s Tuscany
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
A pair of 7' wide custom signs, based on Sonalysts’ original logo design, graces
each of the cave-like entrances for this elegant dining eatery. An oiled finish
frame, handcarved from reclaimed 200-year-old mill-wood, holds the back-lit
honey onyx substrate. 8” deep returns of stencil-cut oval sign band are backed
with kokomo green art glass. Prismatic, solid bronze pin-mounted letters —
juxtaposed with a handcarved olive branch — provide a finishing touch that
is both eclectic and organic.

Imus Brothers’ Coffee
STOREFRONT SIGNAGE
This 11' wide storefront sign features a backlit 6' tall stained glass with Don Imus’
trademark turquoise buffalo. Its deep open-face channel letters of water-jet cut
Kokomo art glass — with blackened steel finish returns — are highly readable
from multiple perspectives.

Sunburst Buffet Sign
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
With a subtle white-neon glow illuminating its center, a vibrant 3’ diameter sun of
cast water-clear polyurethane resin sparkles with flecks of pearl essence. Based on
Sonalysts’ original logo design, the sun is mounted to a swirling cloud panel of the
similar resin/pearl composition. The 3” deep reverse-channel letters with matte
black returns, pin-mounted an inch from the wall, are halo lit with warm yellow
neon. This arresting sign also maintains the contour of the restaurant’s undulating
exterior wall.

Sunburst Buffet Projecting Blade Sign
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
This wall projecting blade sign was designed to draw more attention to the entrance,
which is hidden due to the contour of the restaurant’s undulating exterior wall. The
3/8” thick brushed bronze face with 3/4” thick push-through acrylic dimensional
letters and a 24” diameter backlit circular lightbox with wheat embedded in translucent resin, are a clever integration of the restaurant’s interior design decor. The top
and sides of the main sign cabinet have Kokomo art glass reveals, while the band of
the circular wheat lightbox has a stencil cut backlit lifetrail design detail.

Casino of the Sky Player’s Club Promo Booth Sign
PROMOTIONAL SIGNAGE
Sonalysts’ design for the Mohegan Sun Player’s Club logo is fabricated from 2”
deep aluminum channel letters with (MT-5) blackened steel patina and closed
backs. The words ”Player’s Club” are 8” tall by 2” deep Caslon Antique channel
letters fabricated from aluminum with (MT-5) blackened steel patina and closed
backs. The Mohegan Sun Player’s Club logo is held in position by three 12” wide
by 1” thick cantilevered wood shelves are stained to match the promo booth
wood work that and hold two 1/2” thick sheets of backlit frosted glass. The
angular lightbox beneath has reveals of Kokomo Art Glass to match wayfinders.

Leffingwells Main Entrance Sign
LOUNGE SIGNAGE
Positioned at the second-level entrance of Leffingwells — the martini bar at Wombi
Rock — this sign’s arresting shape and composition complements a truly unique
space. The logo is crafted from 1/2" thick push-through acrylic with a heavily
sandblasted finish. The blue quartz base is integrated with mirror chips to match
the flooring. The double-sided oval sign and diamond logo is supported by two
curved cedar posts with rainbow stained finish.

Wolf Den Hits Sign
SLOT SIGNAGE
Positioned around the circular Wolf Den entertainment venue — the Wolf Den
hits slot signage is sculpted in the round from faux stone with fully functioning
animatronic wolves which subtly move and howl at alternating times.

Ben & Jerry’s
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
Positioned on the lower level of the retail concourse, closets to the gaming tables. The original sign
that Ben & Jerry’s fabricated and installed in 2001 was a carved HDU foam sign, per Ben & Jerry’s
Corporate retail sign standards. The original non-electrical sign gave the impression that Ben &
Jerry’s was closed. The franchise owner contacted Sonalysts and requested design drawings that
would fit within Ben & Jerry’s brand identity, but give their logo life and a dynamic presence in
the highly themed Casino of the Sky. The deep open-face logo channel letters of water-jet cut
Kokomo art glass — with blackened steel finish returns — are highly readable from many views.

Michael Jordan’s 23 Sportcafe
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
Sonalysts’ main entry sign design for Michael Jordan’s 23 Sportcafe consisted of a
dimensional backlit logo, combined with elements such as honey-onyx acrylic and
reveals of backlit Kokomo Art Glass along the sign sides and bottom edge. The oval
MJ23 signature backlit sign was a way to incorporate MJ23 branding along the side
of the main entrance, which is mainly visible from the lower level of the casino,
due to the contour of the restaurant’s undulating exterior wall.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House
RESTAURANT SIGNAGE
The Michael Jordan’s Steak House and Michael Jordan’s 23 Sportcafe menu kiosk is
strategically placed on the far end of the concourse closest to the hotel lobby. This
kiosk uses motion graphics on two vertical 15” LCD screens to draw visitor’s attention.
It also combined elements such as honey-onyx acrylic and reveals of backlit Kokomo
Art Glass along the kiosk sides. Likewise at each entrance there was a 40” LCD menu
screen that uses motion graphics to draw visitor’s attention.

Conserve Atlantis
Conserve Atlantis is a campaign to help protect the unique natural
resources of Paradise Island. Designed to raise awareness among
guests and residents, this logo incorporates ancient Atlantean
symbols — while tying the theme into existing artworks that
are displayed throughout the resort.
Destination Atlantis
Created for Atlantis’ inhouse travel agency. This logo was designed to be
compatible with the property existing branding, while incorporating a
travel theme that is fun, bright and uplifting.

Earth & Fire Pottery Studio
Created for Atlantis’ inhouse pottery studio. This logo was designed to
be compatible with the property’s existing branding, while incorporating
an ancient look with bright fiery colors. This logo incorporates ancient

Aqua Tots Atlantis
This logo was created for Atlantis’ smallest guests over 3 years old or
up to 48'' tall, to introduce them to the the thrill of fish feeding. Five
children are selected daily to take part in the Aqua Tots program. This
20-minute feeding experience is held at the Estuary Lagoon. Participants
wear water shoes and must be able to enter the Lagoon independent of
their parent or guardian who must be in attendance at the feeding. All
children ages 3-5 must be toilet trained and Diaper/Pull-Up free.

Atlantis
Sea Keepers
Created to identify Atlantis’ Staff who feed and care for the 50,000 sea
creatures of Atlantis. Designed to raise awareness among guests and
present a professional appearance for staff, this logo incorporates a
Bahamian color palette and patterns. The logo is embroidered on
uniforms and is printed on Body Glove Wetsuits.
Club Rush
Created to identify Atlantis’ teen recreational facility, the coolest place
to hang out at in the evenings and the best part is – no parents allowed.
The logo speaks to teens who are looking for a fun place to hang out
with their friends, using bold colors and a touch of authentic Bahamian
flavor for added appeal.

Atlantis
The Cave
Developed for an outdoor fast-food venue. The ragged texture and
sea creature are both representative of the rough-hewn environment
surrounding this cave-like family eatery.
Clocktower Patio & Bar
This logo celebrates an inspired open-air restaurant at the Royal Towers.
Patrons dine al fresco — inside a bona fide clocktower — overlooking
the magnificent marina. As a playful twist, the clock’s hands are
positioned just minutes past the start of “happy hour.”

Kids Store
This logo provides the Kid Store with a fun, colorful recognizable mascot
that children can immediately relate to. It is featured on store signage,
along with a wide range of Kid Store packaging.
Atlantis Kids Club
This logo was created for the Atlantis Kids Club, a venue for kids ages
3 to 12 to discover the mysteries of Atlantis while making new friends.
Children immediately relate to this fun, colorful mascot that is featured
on store signage, along with a wide range of Atlantis Kid Club print
collateral materials.

Comprehensive Signage System
SAFETY & PROPERTY SIGNAGE
Sonalysts designed the entire waterscape safety signage package for
Atlantis, Paradise Island. The project included complete signage systems
for the Marina at Atlantis — the entire waterscape, pool decks —
waterslides as well as signage packages for restaurants and exterior
food stands.

NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
Strategically placed within the Atlantis Resort outdoor waterscape, each of the
eight cantilevered pedestal maps houses a 25" x 20" x 1/2" thick vandal resistant
DHP phenolic graphic panel. This well thought-out wayfinding map was custom
illustrated by one of Sonalysts’ talented staff illustrators. The map is drawn in 3D
isometric views of all pertinent areas of the Atlantis Resort. The unique drawing
style allows Atlantis’ guests, as well as staff to easily navigate the expansive resort
property by simply referring to the surrounding architecture, no matter where they
are located on the Atlantis resort property.

Directional Wayfinding Pedestal Maps
NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
Strategically placed within the Atlantis Resort outdoor waterscape, each of the
eight cantilevered pedestal maps has a custom aged copper verdigris or aged and
distressed mottled bronze faux patina finish that helps the maps blend in nicely
with the surrounding foliage and architectural theming. Each set of cantilevered
pedestal legs are securely bolted to two separate poured concrete pads with
concealed non-corrosive fasteners and the legs are joined together, rigidly by
the strength of the 1/2" thick vandal resistant DHP phenolic graphic panel.

These ancient 3'-6” wide x 5’-10” tall stone obelisks grace the Atlantis waterscape.
Ancient sand cast bronze message panels are inset into the four sided obelisk. The
design of the pillars pull together textures and elements from the Atlantis “Dig.”

Sonalysts’ custom 22 x 28 movable poster stanchions are fabricated from cold cast
bronze with aged finishes and custom brackets. All stanchions have (4) heavy duty
casters and paino hinges and are lockable for easy poster changes. The perimeter
face frame has incised heiroglyphics.

AREA ID SIGNAGE
Based on Sonalysts’ original logo design, the prismatic logo and pin-mounted
letters are fabricated from solid cold cast aluminum with custom patina finishes.
The sign graces the beautiful maple woodwork of this betting venue.

The Lagoon Bar & Restaurant is an open-air eatery where patrons dine al fresco.
The sign is inspired by Sonalysts’ original logo design. The dimensional aged copper
patina text is pin mounted to the darkened bars. Sign conforms to the contour of
the giant stone column to which it mounts. The cast sea shell has an aged bronze
finish and is internally illuminated.

EXTERIOR PROPERTY SIGNAGE
Sonalysts began this exciting project with a colorful logo design for
the Marina Village at Atlantis, a quaint Bahamian marketplace offering
seemingly endless shopping and dining opportunities around the
existing Marina at Atlantis.
Once a logo direction was approved, Sonalysts established detailed retail
tenant sign standards for the more than 20 colorful shops that make up
the Marina Village, as well as cast bronze entry plaques, directory maps,
Restroom I.D. signs and back of house signs.
Sonalysts named two Atlantis owned shops: The Village Creamery, an
ice cream shop and Atlantis Trading Dock, a beach and marina store;
submitted colorful logo designs and sign design drawings for each store.
Sonalysts also designed custom signs and internally lit menu boxes
for the four gourmet restaurants: Seafire Steakhouse, Carmine’s Italian
eatery, a popular New York institution; Bimini Road, a fun Caribbean
experience; and the recreation of the legendary Café Martinique that
once stood on the site of the new Marina Village.

NAVIGATIONAL SIGNAGE
Within the rich colorful Marina Village at Atlantis, are three custom designed map
directories housing a 36" x 36" x 1/2” thick vandal resistant DHP phenolic graphic
panel. This unique wayfinding map was custom illustrated by one of Sonalysts’
talented staff illustrators. The map is drawn in 3D isometric views of all pertinent
areas of the Marina Village. The drawing style allows guests to very easily orient
themselves, no matter where they are located inside the Marina Village.

nightspot on the Strip. The clever use of numerals, while serving
as a mnemonic device for the 1133 Atlantic Avenue address,
form a stylized guitar that highlights the club’s music focus.
Asian Spice
A floral motif with elegant typography sets the tone for this authentic
noodle bar, overlooking the casino floor. Calling on the simple
sophistication of Asian design, it reflects the casual and intimate
feel of the restaurant.
